Kings, Sens and Devils' Retro
Over at Icethetics they came across a site that has pictures of the New Jersey Devils retro jerseys for St. Patty's day..png)
In my opinion, when I look at these I believe that these are vintage replicas that will go on sale. The ones that the players will wear on the ice may be slightly different. For one, I doubt that Reebok would allow the Devils not to put the logo on the back just below the collar. It's on the Flames' jersey, why not the Devils? In the same sense I wouldn't be surprised to see the NHL sheild on the neck of the collar (again a la Calgary). Also, it may not appear (a la Montreal's 40's replica)
Now on to the concepts, where I will start with the Ottawa Senators... ?!@##$ ... (sorry, I just vomited). Glen sent in this mod'ed Sens jersey using the promotional side profile logo on their current thirds.
I then also used the promo logo and put it on the original Sens white jersey.
It also has the Edge styling, numbering, and the retro "O" shoulder patch.
Brian sent in this Kings concept.
A Reebok Edge version of the jersey they had from 67-80. Looks great. This would be awesome if the NHL ever had the Vintage jersey program again.
I also did a Kings concept.
This is their former purple alternate and I conformed it to their new Edge style.
