The COTW nominees have been announced. There weren't too many concepts nominated last week and only one person's concepts were nominated. You can check out those nominated concepts on the CONCEPT OF THE WEEK page or by clicking the banner on the side. Committee Members can email their vote in until Thursday @ 11:59pm EST.

Team Canada concepts (by Colin A.)Unfortunately it's difficult to comment on these as you can barely see them because the image has been squeezed together too tightly. I'd also suggest to Colin to use the templates that can be found on the TEMPLATES page.

St. Louis Blues concepts (by Dylan)Dylan created a white version of the Blues' 3rd sweater. I would make sure that you use the same shade of blue next time. Also, inside the collar has been left blue yet it should appear white. Finally, the Reebok logo on the back should also be blue.

Detroit Red Wings concepts (by Stephen T.)This is one of Stephen's better concepts to date! My only two remarks would be to use a white outline around the "D" logo. Also, the shading needs to be filled in correctly on the player model.

Columbus Blue Jackets concept (by Elias)Elias gives us an Ohio flag inspired jersey. I like the idea, but I would keep the arm stripes contained to the elbow area stitching provided on the template. Also, the should patches appear on the front of the concept, but not the back. The TV numbers also read #00. The 0 should be cut in half just like the shoulder patches.

St. John's Ice Caps concept (by MasonII)This is a well executed concept! My only personal choice would be to do away with the vertical piping and use hem stripes. The loose white pixels around the logo need to be corrected.

Team USA concept (by Brady)Brady updates the shield inside of the original USA Hockey logo from the 1070's. Combine that with a classic looking jersey and I think this concept is pretty damn good. I could see Team USA throwing these over their heads for some sort of outdoor game.

Vancouver Giants concepts (by Kevin) Description on concepts. COTW nomination from me!
Montreal Canadiens concept (by Kyle C.)Kyle called this "Vintage for Vintage Sake". I think it looks pretty good. It's kind of what like the Rangers and Flyers did for the Winter Classic this year. Vintage looking jerseys that they have never actually worn before. I think this might have even been better if the red and blue were reversed.

Team Sweden concepts (by Fredrik)The final concept is for the World Junior Champions! It's a throwback to the old uniforms of the 60's and 70's, but it features the current Tre Kronor. Fredrik is spot on using a Reebok jersey as they now manufacture the sweaters for the team.
