Bishop Guertin Cardinals concepts (by Brady)
Brady continues on with his New Hampshire high school re-designs. I believe that Brady said that the team already uses the Packers' logo, so it's kind of accepted there. I do wish the shoulder patch was red as it would stand out nicely and help this not be a Green Bay hockey sweater. 6/10

Greenville Road Warriors concepts (by WinnipegJets96) *Description on concept. 7/10

Hartford Whalers concept (by Jeremy T.)
I like the font used for the NOB, but I think it would be very hard to read. I think that font would work excellently for a new Whalers' wordmark. The jersey is okay, but it could use stripes of some variety on the hem. 6/10

Colorado Avalanche concepts (by Deferoiler)
Bonus point to Deferoiler for attempting to create his own logo! I think the blue used here is too generic and screams MS Paint. I also think that the numbers on the blue jersey really could use an outline. I do really like the stripes on the home and road concepts. 7/10

Gotham City Rogues concepts (by Stephen T.)
I figured that I would get something related to Batman sent in. I'm not a comic book movie guy, but even I really enjoy this Batman series of movies (haven't seen the new one yet). The jerseys are nicely executed. I like the alternate, except for the Flames' hem striping. There's nothing wrong with the home and roads, but I just think they lack a bit of imagination. Anyone could have coloured any jersey yellow and black and called them Gotham City Rogues. 7/10

Nashville Predators concepts (by Ian)
I like the angled design on the arms, but I think somehow doing something similar on the hem would go great. I like the idea behind the alternate, but the checkerboard is so loud and gaudy. If somehow it could be toned down or your attention could be taken away from them a bit. Very good execution all around though. 7/10

Winter Classic concepts (by Tristan)
That's a really cool Leafs' Classic jersey. I just wish that an actual Leafs logo would appear on it somewhere, preferably the shoulders. The Wings jersey is okay, but the font on the front and used for the NOB is not good. It looks like the MAC font from the 90's. 7/10

Tampa Bay Lightning concepts (by WhiteLightning)
The home and road jerseys are great. Some small adjustments I'd make and they have to do with the outlines on the primary logos. On the blue jersey, I'd make the white outline thicker and on the white jersey I'd get rid of the blue outline, which seems useless on the black logo without any white between them. The alternate doesn't do enough to differentiate itself from the Sens' old 3rd. 7/10

Peoria Rivermen concept (by HJC)
This was my second entry into Peoria's fan jersey contest. I'm a big fan now of straight stripes on the yokes. I also packaged together a few elements from other Rivermen logos to create the shoulder patch.

Peoria Rivermen concept (by Scott M.)
I like the striping of the jersey, but I think you could add a lot more life to this if a logo were used in the primary location as opposed to the RIVS wordmark. I'm okay with the wordmark, but not as a primary in this situation. The execution and presentation is top notch. 8/10

Gwinnett Gladiators concepts (by WinnipegJets96) *Description on concept. 6/10

New Jersey Devils concept (by Thallos)
I like the stripes and the sublimated flames on the cuffs are quite good. I think the numbers could be bolder. Also, the Devils don't have league approval to place their captain's letters on the right side of the jersey for their home and roads, thus they wouldn't get it for a third jersey using the same logo. 8/10

New York Islanders concept (by Justin C.)
Our HJC Open winner comes in with a Islanders 3rd jersey concept here. I've mentioned the positioning of the TV numbers before, so Justin knows. I like the 4 "championship" stripes on the arms, but I'm not a big fan of designs on the sides. I feel they get lost or covered by the players' arms. I like the NY logo on the pants and I think it could also be cool on the helmet. Finally, I just saw the four stripes on the back and inside of the collar, which further cements my thought that the side panel stripes should go away. 8/10

I swear that was the last time I did the TV numbers like that! Haha but I'll give Thallos a COTW nom. Move that "C" to the other side and I'd love to see New Jersey wearing those!
