Weekend Update
Hey everyone. So my baby has arrived and now he has a name and a gender. Meet Carter Haslett. He was born on Monday at 5:30am.
I know competitions are so much fun here on HJC and I said I would have one after the baby is born, but I just need another week to get everything in my life in order, at least somewhat, before I start a competition. Right now I have so many visitors coming to my house that I haven't been able to establish any sort of routine. Once that is done, we can have a contest!

Niklas' concept now moves on, with the other August COTW winners, to the monthly vote! You can see those entrants listed on the side of the page. Click the banner or go to the COTY 2012 tab to see the concepts. Committee Members, voting ends on Thursday @ 11:59pm EST.
The COTW nominees for the first week of September (3-9) have also been listed. You can see that list on the side of the page. It must have been a slow week because only two concepts were nominated. Both created by Steven G. So congrats Steven G, we just don't know which one will win yet. You can see the nominated concepts by clicking the banner or by going to the CONCEPT OF THE WEEK tab.

For those that are interested the Federal Hockey League will be holding its first All-Star Game this season. They are holding a logo design contest for the event. You can find all of the info HERE. Thanks to Jay for the heads up.

All in all, a very solid baby. Wrapping him up in a t-shirt has a throwback feel to it, but I'm not a fan of the tacky inside-out stripes.
