The winner of the Concept of the Week for July 21-27 was S2dio and his Quebec Nordiques concept.

We had eight concepts properly nominated and seconded for COTW this past week. As per the COTW rules, when there are over 5 concepts nominated for Concept of the Week only the concepts thirded, fourthed and so on will be entered into the vote. That's what we have this week.

We have reached the Final of the HJC Open. Justin will defend his HJC Open title look to win his 2nd HJC Open in 3 years against Dylan W. This will be massive. Two of the top concept artists trying to one-up each other. Justin HAS to defeat Dylan in the voting. If it ends in a tie, Dylan wins based on more COTW wins in 2014 (6-0). Entries will be in by the end of Wednesday and voting will end on Saturday @ 11:59pm Eastern

you Photoshop users (and Paint.net users with the PSD plugin) S2dio's
templates are now available on the TEMPLATES page for download! I'm
interested to see who uses these and what they can do with them.
By now you have all heard about the massive Grand Rapids Griffins Competition going on. You have until August 31st to get your best entry in. Keep in mind that this is a Griffins competition and not a typical HJC run competition. If you don't follow a rule the Griffins aren't going to let you know, they'll just exclude your entry from the competition. Good luck everyone!

You keep saying that Justin is "defending his title, but didn't Andrew G win last year? Do you mean he's defending the one he won two years ago?
Yes, you are correct Austin. I forgot that Andrew won last year.
