Saturday: History Repeating?
Hey everyone. I write this just after the Blue Jays have been eliminated from the playoffs. I know, I know, that's not hockey news. Unbelievably the Blue Jays sucked me in and I became a fan for the last couple of months. I'm a complete bandwagon jumper and I won't be there in April for game 1, but it was still fun to finally get behind a winning team here in Toronto.
Anyways...
The winner of the 3rd Quarter Vote was Justin C's Stadium Series concept!
When Justin won the 2012 and 2013 COTY awards he also won the 3rd Quarter Vote. Is history repeating itself? We will see in January as Justin's concept will go up against Tristan's concept. Dylan's 1st Quarter winning concept will wait until the end of the year to see its opponent.

The new COTW nominees for October 18-24 have been listed in the black poll on the side of the page. Those signed into a Google account can place their vote right up until Friday's 11:59pm Eastern deadline.
The winner of the Grey Jersey Competition was Brooks F!
A new competition will be starting soon. I'm calling it a "Rewrite History" competition. The premise is that it's 1996, but we have 2015 technology available to us. It's up to you to re-design the 1996 World Cup of Hockey logo. For those not interested in creating a logo, there will also be a jersey portion of the competition. You can re-design a jersey set for one of the 8 teams that participated in that tournament. The key is that's it's 1996 and we only have the technology of 2015. I hope to have the full details of the competition posted this weekend.
