Sunday: It Is Upon Us!

Afternoon everyone. That title means the World Cup of Hockey. Exhibition games have started already. Speaking of the WCH, our next competition is to make the championship shirt and hat for whatever team you choose. You have until Friday at noon to turn your entries in.

To the concepts

         David Strover- Swindon Wildcats

 Positives: the different accent stripes look really good. Also, the years on the front to commemorate the 30th anniversary was a good idea.

Negatives: The white logo and numbers with the white jersey would be really hard to see. Also, those red pants don't work.

Overall: 7.5/10

      DT concepts- Hillary Clinton

Positives: The traditional striping with the subtle use of the stripes of the logo in the pants and on the hem was a really good idea.

Negatives: Personally, I love that you put all the news sponsors on there but please put them on the jersey in the traditional ways, not all crammed on the hem.

Overall: 8/10

          DT Concepts- Jeb Bush

 Positives: While it is a very basic design with blue accent. 

Negatives: That numbering is too thick and the "6" looks really weird.

Overall: 8/10

     Lucas Daitchman- Chicago Blackhawks

 Positives: That combo logo is just killer. It's a perfect combination of the Blue Jackets logo and the Blackhawks alternate logo.

Negatives: None

Overall: 9/10 COTW NOMINEE

    Lucas Daitchman- Nashville Predators

Positives: What really works for this is the prominence of Yellow, something that the Sabres so consider. Also, the logo looks pretty good.

Negatives: Nitpicking, change the piping on the yellow jersey to dark blue instead of white.

Overall: 8.5/10

    Tyler Kehler- Rochester Americans

Positives: The primary jerseys are awesome. More of a Rangers like set, it works really well with the logo. As for the Alternate, the logo and jersey are a nice contrast from the two primaries.

Negatives: My main issue with this is the font used in the numbers and the "AMERICANS" text. It just doesn't fit well with the whole identity of the Americans.

Overall: 8.5/10
