Sunday: It's getting closer

Hi everybody. Christmas is what I'm talking about people. Get ready to nag your parents and significant others about buying you that jersey you've been dying to get.

So I really don't need to remind anybody about the COTW by now so just go do it. I do have to remind you guys though about the season vote and getting in the COTY logo entries. you guys have until Friday to do so.

Onto the Concepts

Avi S- Vancouver Canucks

Positives: The Idea of going with a mixture of classic style with a modern flare to it was a good choice on this. The main logo is nice, the negative space "V" on each arm is a nice touch, and the striping looks beautiful.
Negatives: Out of the two design I would say use the blue pants and gloves with the green helmet. All that green is a little too much.
Overall: 9/10

Gimmik- Tampa Bay Lightning 

Positives: The use of no white and replacing it with gray looks pretty good. It gives this whole uniform a throwback feel to it with the victory stripes.
Negatives: This looks slightly pixelated and the striping on the jersey just looks really generic.
Overall: 7/10

Jake M- Erie Otters 

Positives: First off, the otter head logo is beautiful. It really give the otters a beautiful updated look. As for the uniforms, Going to a much more traditional style with such a think multi-stripe style really helps give notice to the logo but gives the jersey an individuality of it's own.
Negatives: The yoke with the nameplate in it could go.
Overall: 9.75/10 COTW NOMINEE

Lucas D- Buffalo Sabres 

Positives: Going back to the black and red color scheme was a good idea with the vintage jersey as the alternate, all while keeping the same logo on all was a really good idea. The two red striping on the primary jerseys look good as well.
Negatives: That half sleeve style with the two stripes looks too templated.
Overall: 8.5/10

Taylor R- Vancouver Canucks 

Positives: What's really nice about this whole set is that fact that it's a mere improvement on the current uniform set by adding silver to the striping. It's a nice touch and the green jersey works nice for an alternate jersey.
Negatives: It would be nice to see the current Canucks numbers on the uniforms. Other than that good job.
Overall: 9/10
