Saturday: Pick the Open Logo
The winner of the COTW vote for May 26 - June 1 was Anthony C!
All of the COTW votes for May have been completed and all of the winners will now face off in the COTW-May vote. The entrants are listed on the side of the page in the red banner. Those who are logged into a Google account will be able to place your vote up until Friday at noon Eastern time.
This week we also have our first COTW vote of June. Three concepts were nominated and seconded and they have been listed in the black poll on the side of the page. Again, those logged into a Google account can place their vote up until Friday at noon Eastern time.
Our final vote this week is a Top 3 vote to determine the logo we will use for the 2017 HJC Open. We had 11 logos submitted, so click the banner at the top of the page to see all of them. Likewise, you can go to the HJC OPEN tab to see the concepts and vote. After that you can place your Top 3 vote up until Friday at noon Eastern.
The eBay auctions for the Blackhawks and Sabres Doug Gilmour jerseys concluded. Perhaps after hearing the prices they went for you may end up kicking yourself because of the deals you missed out on. Shipping was $22 for each jersey and all funds are Canadian.
The Blackhawks jersey was purchased by our very own Jets96 (Monday writer). Jets won the auction for $18.50! That's right, this jersey went for under $20 Canadian which works out to about $13.75 in US funds.
The Sabres jersey was won by someone else. If you read this blog let us know what you think of the jersey when it comes. This jersey was a bit more popular, but still was had for $36. That's $26.75 in greenbacks.
The sweaters went for lower numbers than I expected, but I'm still happy to sell them and get them out of storage. Hopefully they're going to good homes where they can be happy and hang with other jerseys and talk about jersey stuff.
The Quad City Mallards (ECHL) contacted me and we wondering if any of our readers were interested in creating a military inspired warm-up jersey that they may use next season. If this interests you, put together your concept with your name on it and email it to concepts@HockeyJerseyConcepts.com and I will make sure it gets to my contact at the Mallards. Google "Mallards Original 6 night jersey" to see the jersey I created for them 3 years ago and you may be able to find my story on the HJC Deisgn Blog.

Thanks for the COTW win guys!
Anthony, you have improved so much! As an avid HJC reader, I have loved seeing your growth. I have to admit, that Panthers concept was one of the best concepts I've ever seen! Keep it up!
