Tucson Roadrunners 2019-20 Third Jersey

In AHL news, the Tucson Roadrunners have released their 2019-20 third jerseys!

The black jersey is a Kachina style jersey, which is based on the popular throwback jersey being worn by the parent club, the Arizona Coyotes. There is also a complete line of Kachina style merchandise that the Roadrunners have also released.

The jersey is a black jersey with red shoulder yokes. A unique sand colour Kachina pattern stripe is on the arms and the waist and is flanked by purple extending to the hem and cuffs. The shoulder logos are the old Phoenix Coyotes alternate logo from the 1990's and the other logo is a new Tucson patch over the state of Arizona in the old Coyotes alternate colours.

The new logo is a big star on this jersey. It's a roadrunner holding a hockey stick in the same pose and style as the original Coyotes logo. The colours on the primary logo are the same colours from the 90's Coyotes third jersey. This logo is very creative and something new, which is very much welcome during this hockey season!

I really love that the Roadrunners were inspired by their parent club rather than just copying the Kachina jersey. It's inspired by a couple of different eras of Coyotes hockey and that's easy to see. It's not hidden or it doesn't need to be pointed out by an exaggerate infographic.
