Here we go, another week. I'll start this week by talking about last week.
Tex won last week's COTW in a playoff. Even the playoff was close as Tex beat me out by ONE vote, 22-21!
Concept of the Week voting is up and will run until Thursday @ 11:59pm EST. Voting is on the left side of the page and nominees can be seen on the CONCEPT OF THE WEEK page.
More voting, as the Penguins ReDesign moves into that stage of the competition. Click on the PENGUINS COMP tab to see the entries and vote.
Voting runs until Sunday @ 11:59pm EST. I was really happy with the response which means that we will do another one. Share your thoughts on who should be next in the comments or on the Facebook page.
Last week's Weekly Poll focused on fighting and if it should be in the game.
The answer reveals why it's so hard for the NHL to ban fighting as 87% of you voted in favour of keeping fighting in the game.
This week's poll focuses on hockey on TV. I'm wondering who you think provides the best coverage of a game. Voting is on the right side of the page and will run until Sunday @ 11:59pm EST. Also feel free to discuss this on the Facebook page or in the comments.
A little fun item last week was the head to head vote that Jack and Glen had regarding their Preds mustard yellow concepts. Glen won that battle 36-9.
Los Angeles Kings concept (by Jack)
Jack shows us here what the Kings' road uni might look like next year except with the crown as the main logo. I like the movement of the TV numbers from the triceps to the arm stripe.
Nashville Predators concept (by Tex)
Tex wanted to see what the Preds' "Special Edition" jerseys would look like with the NP logo on it. I don't think it's strong enough and fits perfectly on the front of the pants currently.
Dallas Stars concept (by Mason)
Mason just gave in here and made the Stars black and gold. I might prefer these if the arms on the home were black also.
Pittsburgh Penguins concept (by Piatt)
This is Piatt's first contribution to HJC. It's a combination of the 90's alternate and the current home. Nice job, hope to see more from you Piatt.
All Star Game concepts (by Scott)
These are winners to me. Retro look and they kick ass. I think ASG jerseys that look like this would sell like crazy. Will we see them ever? Probably not. Damn you Reebok!

Jack, I think you might be the only one pushing for an All Star ReDesign...
Stars concept might be cooler with some stars down the sleeves.
Is that supposed to be dark green or black - hard to tell on my monitor.

Tex - see how they'd look in Dark Green with some stars down the sleeves.
