Tuesday: Late School Rush

Last day of school and boy was it a busy one. This whole weekend was a mess and I'm finally getting a chance to write! Let's get right to it!

Milwaukee Admirals - Chase C.

Me. I love double blue schemes and I think you all might know this by now. This kind of looks like a Maine Black Bears set, would fit them nicely. I'm going to simply put it, I think the look is great. I think it's simple but it could be a jersey that lasts a lifetime. My one change might be to add a dark blue yoke on the white. I think it would wrap up the overall jersey and balance it out a little more. Mostly because there's a lot more dark blue in the first set and pants.

 If you were on the site Sunday you saw David take a very peculiar look for Team USA hockey based on the USA Womens soccer team jerseys. To be honest I would not like to see these used. I usually do not like neon and black look for a team. I think as a fan jersey it could be kind of cool but I'm the type of person that might like a fan jersey but would never buy one. I think this one should stay as a concept. Cool concept, but should stay as one. Also I used to like the USA logo but I've really grown out of it, I really think it just looks too plain and 90's especially for a neon look.

Minnesota Wild Stadium Series - Jarrett T.

So we see another Stadium series design that's based off of this years game. I think for most teams in the league the base design would look pretty decent. I especially think it looks good with the Wild. If the SS game never happened this year and Minnesota introduced this as an alternate of some sort I would be totally a fan. However I think the look is just becoming stale now with so many different team concepts on this site. So on the surface I like the look, but it's losing it's charm.

 Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild Throwback Night - John E.

 This is different. A throwback night. Would like to see more of those. First I'll start with the one that I really like. The Minnesota North Stars one. I think that's a very nice jersey. My fixes would be to connect the green and white stripe on the hem. I think spacing them out takes away from the continuity of the whole jersey. It's bright, but not overbearing. The Quebec jersey is decent. I think the striping is a tad boring. The yoke outlines save it though but it kind of gets mixed with Detroit's Winter Classic look. The huge fleur de lis is something I am not a fan of. I think just like the huge TV numbers of this years SS game it just doesn't look appealing. It takes over so much and takes away from the nice blue and jersey look. Making it a regular shoulder patch and moving the numbers down would be a winning move here to save it.

Philadelphia Flyers - Taylor R.

A Philly jersey that is rather different. Taylor takes the wing design and makes it the striping for the jersey. You actually don't see this too often so it's pretty cool to see. The amount of orange is just right for me. I think the balance of the whole jersey is great and it simply looks like a Classic jersey that Philly had back in the day. Hey Philly, if you redesign take his advice!

Sorry for two crappy weeks in the short amount of time. School bashed quicker than I thought. But the ride is over now for about three months! Time to relax and enjoy! You do the same folks!
