2011 All Star Game
I somehow missed this on Wednesday but, Icethetics has a great post on this year's All Star jerseys!

I wonder how much (if any) money the NHL is missing out on in jersey sales by not releasing the jerseys THREE weeks before the game?!?!
Go to Icethetics and gather up all the great tidbits Chris has posted, then create a concept for the All Star game jerseys. Send them in (concepts@HockeyJerseyConcepts.com) I'll post them for all to see! I'll be doing mine up after I post this. When it's done I'll attach it here as an edit.

It's hard for me to comment on All Star jerseys because ever since they have been "Edgefied" I have thought they've been some of the worst! It's for that reason that they are also very hard to predict.
Gary, sent in this Hawks concept
Chicago Blackhawks concept
Gary says he loves the barber pole look (as do I, fond memories of the 1991-92 throwback) To add a little more vintage to the proceedings, Gary put the logo on the sleeves (love it) and put the number on the front (such as the Bruins and Hawks of the 40's did).
Atlanta Thrashers concept
This comes from Jack who used an Atlanta Hawks secondary logo and recoloured it for the Thrashers. The jersey looks good to me. If it was me though, I would have used their home jersey shoulder patch as the main crest here.
