I just want to let everyone know that this round I am being a little relaxed with the requirements. That won't be the case next round. The most common thing I have come across is the NHL logo appearing on the inside collar tag. That will not be allowed next round.
QUICK HITS
New York Rangers Winter Classic concept (by Jack)
Pittsburgh Penguins concept (by D3troit1388)
Pittsburgh Penguins concepts (by Colin)That's certainly a unique design on the front, but I do like how it leads your eye to the team logo. The yellow outline on some of the numbers looks to me like this jersey can't decide what its colour scheme is. I know the Pens do mix these colours, but I think it looks best when the yellow is contained to the triangle in the logo.
Calgary Flames concept (by Mason H.)Mason Edge-ifies the late 90's Flames sweaters. He does take away those stripes that came up from the bottom of the jersey and that's a good thing. I think this jersey screams 90's though. It just will be one of those staples from the era. Left behind, never to be seen again except in the occasional photo.
Calgary Flames concept (by HJC)I, unlike most, do not want to see the Flames go full-time retro. I would however like to see them create a new set which is inspired by their jerseys from the 80's and early 2000's. I really tried to minimize black to a trim colour.

ryan how do you get the texture of the mesh on the back of the jersey?
Are you using Paint.net Avi? If so, use the Paint Can to fill in the appropriate areas with grey and transparent as your colours. First at the top of the screen where it says "Fill:" choose "Percent 05" from the drop down menu. You can also create a new layer to do this in and then delete what you don't need (similar to how you would apply shoulder patches)
oh, haha i actually use photoshop, so i had no clue how to do that, but thanks
