Tuesday's Concepts
This post was actually written last night because tonight I'm at the Maple Leafs blue vs white skills competition. It may sound a little boring, but I'll pretty much do anything to get into that arena and the tickets were free!
Here is a rundown of the votes going on...
DHL Final (ends TONIGHT - Tuesday @ 11:59pm EST)

Detroit Red Wings concept (by Josh)
No TV numbers and there is a different shade of red inside the NOB. The logo is too big also...
Minnesota Wild concepts (by Michael L.)
A couple of weeks ago Michael sent in two sets of Wild sweaters. He's combined the best of both sets to create this awesome looking set!
Dallas Stars concept (by MasonII)
I like the black and gold designs. It's something a little different as well. Saying that, it does seem a little plain. Possibly it could use some white somewhere? I think the DALLAS in the logo should be white instead of black. There are also some pixels at the tip of the collar that have not been coloured white, to match the rest of the collar.

Kris uses the old North Stars jersey on this one, but the real highlite is that Kris has made his own logo here. Yes, we've seen things similar to it before, but I stand and applaud the effort that Kris has made to create his own logo. Keep working at it Kris!
Tampa Bay Lightning logo mash-ups (by Brian B.)
Nice work by Brian. In my opinion though, these two eras of logos don't go as well together as yesterday's Senators' logo mash-up.
New York Islanders concept (by D3troit1388)
Another concept that uses the two blues in Islanders history. Also, another concept that is better than what the Islanders use! Here's an execution note, the stitching at the hem would end at the hem stripes.
Calgary Flames concepts (by Steven G.)
Here's a bunch of things combined together. The jerseys themselves aren't exact copies of the mid-90's jerseys, but they are close. The red looks to be the Heritage Classic red and the WHA's Calgary Cowboys' logo is used as a shoulder patch.
Pittsburgh Penguins concepts (by Avi)
Pens fans, if you don't like the current Reebok Penguins sweaters would these be better? I say yes! I just would like a little more black somewhere on the gold jersey. Perhaps the white stripes could be outlined in black, just like the gold stripes on the home sweater? COTW nomination from me!

i second avi for cotw that is a great concept
That Pens concept would be 10,000x better than the crappy set we currently wear, however, I just can't take Vegas gold jerseys. Still worthy of a 3rd to the nomination.
@Sam: You need a Google account if you want your nominations to be valid.
I nominate Kris for COTW. If Dallas used something like that for a third, they could then base an away on it and ditch those god-awful DALLAS football jerseys.
That is a fantastic Penguins concept by Avi. It's definately got my COTW nomination.
