Thursday: QMJHL, AHL, IIHF, and some NHL
The COTW votes are coming in at a nice pace, but we could always use more. Today is the last day to vote, so if you're a Committee Member who has yet to vote get on it. If you want to be on the Voting Committee and you are a frequent contributor then send me an email and we'll see what we can do.

Chicago Indians concepts (by Chuckie)
To begin with, as we have evolved and learned as a society, Indians is not an appropriate name to give a new sports team. As for the concept, they're pretty good, no complaints. Except for the positioning of "INDIANS" on the circle logo. It's not fitting properly, can't shove a square peg through a round hole. 5/10
Albany Devils concepts (by Elias)
I'm indifferent towards the striping, but only because that pattern is quite popular right now amongst new sweaters. I do really like how Elias has used red, black, and green! 7/10
Cape Breton Screaming Eagles concepts (by Kevin) *Description on the concept. 8/10
Dartmouth Big Green concepts (by Brady)
Brady has replace the arched wordmark and player number from the front of the jersey with the big D logo they used in the 90's. For a college/university team I personally prefer a wordmark, such as they do with their current sweaters. I really like the "BIG GREEN" written on the back of the collars. The alternate is very cool with its retro/heritage pants! 8/10
Carolina Hurricanes concept (by MasonII)
To me, this is the perfect alternate jersey for the Hurricanes! I like how Mason has kept the grey "shadow" shoulder patch. I also like the hurricane flag pattern on both the hem and arms. A COTW nomination from me! 9/10
Charlotte Checkers concepts (by Elias)
Elias return the Checkers to their ECHL colours, but keeps the Hurricanes tie-in with the sublimated flag pattern on the hem and arms. I don't object to the standard block font numbers, but I think a different style could only help the concept here. 8/10
Winnipeg Jets concept (by Tyler G.)
The jersey is very good and seems perfectly executed! The blue and grey with red as a trim is great. I'm not sold on the pattern used in the numbers though. 8/10
Philadelphia Flyers concepts (by Ian)
It seems that the logical "next step" with the Flyers' current sweaters is to outline things in black. And that doesn't look too bad. I wouldn't want to see it right now, but a 3rd like it would be cool. The 3rd jersey that Ian has here is good. I like what he has done with a typical Reebok cookie cutter sweater. 8/10
Team Canada concept (by MasonII)
Love it! Would be great as a 3rd. My only small change would be to have solid red pants with no stripe as to not clutter the uniform. 9/10
Chicoutimi Sagueneens concepts (by Kevin) *Description on concept. 8/10
