Monday's Weekend Update
Hey everyone. Weekend Update is a day late because I wasn't feeling great yesterday. However, we press on now!
The winner of the COTW vote for April 1-7 is Torin!
The winner of the COTY-March vote is...no one yet! That's right, we have a tie.
A playoff vote will now take place. It will end on Friday as every other vote would. So cast your votes again, as it's Darren vs Dylan for March's COTY! You can click the PLAYOFF banner on the side of the page to see the entrants again.
The winner of the "Untouchables" - Chicago Blackhawks competition will be announced tomorrow. I'm still recovering from my sickness and haven't had time to count the votes.
We continue on with our "Untouchables" series now. This time around we will be re-designing the New York Rangers! Click the banner at the top of the page for the rules and details.
Friday's Live Chat #3 was a success again! A lot of fun was had. The San Jose Sharks Head2Head votes were quite good and we talked a lot about the new Winter Classic jerseys. You can review everything that happened HERE. I'll start thinking right away when the next Live Chat will happen (probably next month). If you would like to have your say as to when it should happen then leave a comment below.
Finally, Colin who wrote on Friday's is no longer able to write for us. That opens up a spot for a new writer. If you would like to write for HJC you should grab some concepts from the blog and do a mock post. You can either send the post to me or post it on your own blog. It should be styled just like a HJC post. To write for HJC, you must be available on the day assigned to you (may not be Friday) and be able to have your post up by 4:30pm Eastern on your day. You'll also need to familiarize yourself with Blogger.
