Saturday: The Winner Is...
The winner of the 2014 Concept of the Year, by a vote count of 14-5 is...
CHRISTIAN L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christian, I will be in touch with you soon so that you can be sent your championship plaque! A big congrats to Christian. If I remember correctly, on the day that this concept was posted someone commented that it was instantly a COTY contender. They were right. What a journey, when you really think about it. Christian's concept had to be nominated and seconded by the appropriate people. Then he had to beat out other concepts in a COTW vote. He then beat out all the best concepts of a certain month, which was followed by winning a Quarterly Vote. He then wins a Semi-Final vote and now this Final vote. Unbelievable!
How can we not mention Dylan? For the second year in a row Dylan loses in the Concept of the Year Final. His USA concept was being posted and going through the monthly vote as he was being defeated in last year's COTY vote. Heart breaking.
Congrats to everyone who was nominated in 2014!
We delayed a COTW vote so we could focus on the Final vote. As such, this week we have two COTW votes running. You can click on the banners on the side of the page or go to the CONCEPT OF THE WEEK tab. Voting ends on Friday at 11:59pm Eastern. Email those votes in soon, or you could join the COTW Mailing List to be reminded to vote. Simply request to join by sending an email.

Ok, so perhaps the World Cup Competition has run a little long. We are winding it down now with the team votes. Click the World Cup banner at the top of the page or go to the WORLD CUP tab to see all of the entries and place your TOP 3 votes for EACH TEAM. Voting ends on Friday at 11:59pm Eastern and can be done by leaving a comment on that page.

Congrats Christian L. you definitely deserved the COTY this year.
You'll probably need Dylan's adress to send him a box of tissues. Thanks everyone for the votes!
Congrats Christian!
I guess when you submit the same concept 12 times, it's got to stick at least once! Good work Christian glad we got to see your process and how this concept evolved.
Thanks Mario and Scott!
