Sunday: Semi-ready

Why hello there. Steve back with another Sunday Post. I hope you guys listened to the podcast because it's a good one, just like today's concepts. I think you should listen to that after reading this post.

Ok let's get to it!

Adam G- Semiahmoo Minor Hockey

Positives: While this is a pretty standard style of stripping, it really bring emphasis to the logo. What looks really good overall is the emphasis on orange on the white jersey. You do a good job with the black to accent it perfectly.
Negatives: While the design overall is plain, you could take it a little bit farther by adding a another stripe or two. Just doing something that would really help it look more unique and appealing.
Overall: 6/10

Danny R- Sherwood Park Crusaders 

Positives: For a team with such a generic logo you'd think they'd do something to make themselves look unique? No. They were recolored versions of the Kings jerseys. Danny does a good job here of not really redesigning the wheel but merely working the design around the logo to fit perfectly. The striping on the arms look great and the hem is fitting with the jersey
Negatives: Please stop making the pentagon on the jersey a different color than the collar. Everything else works well except that collar.
Overall: 8.75/10

John E- Colorado Avalanche 

Positives: I'm going to take it that you're basing this off of the Nordiques early WHA jerseys because that's my only thought behind why you don't have any names on the back. As for the design of the jersey, I love it. You did a perfect job of make a successful jersey without any white on it. The contrast of powder blue and maroon looks great on what would be the (currently) away jersey. As for the Maroon jersey, the addition of navy onto the ends of the jersey was a wise choice.
Negatives: My only negatives are that you didn't add names. Other htan that I have no problems with this set.
Overall: 9/10 COTW NOMINEE

Noah B- Semiahmoo Minor Hockey

Positives: This is a design that I can see the team working with. The simple striping with a white stripe in the black yoke works well with the logo and the orange numbers are a nice touch on the white jersey.
Negatives: It would be nice to see the pant striping match the jersey and socks but that's just a suggestion.
Overall: 7.5/10
