Toronto Maple Leafs Stadium Series Jersey Leaked!

You're hearing it first here folks. Tweeted out today by one of our fellow designers and picked up by HJC, we were able to confirm that this IS the official Stadium Series Jersey for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

While we do not see any numbers on the jersey, it was already hinted that the Leafs would go with a white version of their Centennial Classic, but this takes a much more simplified approach compared to what the blue jersey with the white stripe was last season. Other details that are noticed in this picture is a tie-in to the location of the game; the motto of the Royal Canadian Navy: Ready, Aye, Ready. After reading extensively on the history of the RCN motto, the motto means that the Canadian Navy is always ready to protect it's shores and the ones in need. As for the Leafs current Rallying Cry, "Honor. Pride. Courage.", They placed that within the sleeve striping.

Overall this jersey, while it has some nice subtle nuances, is pretty plain just by itself and that's a shame because it looks as if this year's Stadium Series Jersey match up is going to be pretty dull.
