Wednesday: 2 Days Into 2013 & Still Alive

Florida Panthers concepts (by WinnipegJets96)

I really like the white jersey. I think that if the yellow and white changed places on the blue jersey then that would be a winner too. I feel like the collar laces are irrelevant here. They're not needed. 7/10

The jerseys on the left are good. I would just raise the hem stripes up a bit to expose the solid colour underneath them. The white wordmark jersey just doesn't do anything for me. The blue one is decent, but I would much prefer a logo. Execution wise, the TV numbers should be moved to the bicep area of the arm rather than the elbow. 6/10

Montreal Canadiens concepts (by WinnipegJets96)

Jets96 sent this in to let us know that he would like the Habs to use this retro sweater as their road sweater. Sorry to sound harsh because I always like getting concepts from everyone, but was a concept really needed for this? Anyways, I don't care for the blue numbers on the white jersey even though it is true to the jersey of the 1950's. The Habs even knew the blue numbers didn't work as they went with red numbers from 2003-2007 when they used that white jersey. 4/10

Team Switzerland concepts (by Bastian)

I always like to see the Swiss do well at tournaments. Not beating Canada well, but beating everyone else is good. As for the jerseys, they're not as good as the Swiss' 2010 Olympic sweaters, but they are nice and simple. I also like that Bastian only used the colours that appear on the Swiss flag. 8/10

Team Canada concept (by NB14)

This would be a really nice one-time use jersey for Canada. NB14 has done a nice rendering here, but I do have two issues. The first being that a Nike swoosh was just slapped on a Reebok template. Secondly, a new leaf should be used for the crest rather than the Maple Leafs' shoulder patch. 8/10

Jubileums Matchen Elitserien concept (by Jesper)

Jesper has a great description for this "Swedish Winter Classic" that was played on December 8 between Brynas and Timra. I'm always a big fan of those Brynas yokes! The rest of the jersey is nice an quiet to make sure that the attention stays on those yokes. For Timra, it's a very nice, simple and clean fauxback. Perfect for the occasion. COTW nom from me! 9/10
