Weekend Update (Oct 6)
Hi-ho everyone!
Before I start, I've again noticed a wonderful influx of new concept artists! However, several regular artists have also been having trouble with HJC policies. Mainly, the HJC size restriction is not being followed. It doesn't affect me if you haven't sized your image properly. It only slows down the posting of your concept.
Lets say for instance, you send in your concept on a Tuesday. Normally it would take at least 10-14 days (minimum) for it to get to the front of the line. However, if it doesn't adhere to the HJC policies you won't find out until I get to it on a Saturday night. At that time I will inform you that you will have to re-send the image with the correct size. Now we're looking at 2-3 weeks since you originally sent the concept in until it gets posted.
So review all of HJC's policies on the ABOUT/CONTACT HJC page!
Once I get word from Greg (Colgate University) as to who he selected as the winner for the Autism Awareness Jersey Competition I will let you guys know. The winner will be contacted by email.

Scott's concept now moves on with the other COTW winners from September. They all move forward into the COTY-September vote! You can see the entrants listed on the side of the page in the red banner. To see the concepts, click on that banner or go to the COTY 2013 page. Voting ends on Friday and the winner of this vote will move on to the 3rd Quarter Vote! This is crazy, where is the year going?
The new COTW nominees have been listed on the side of the page (black banner) for the week of Sept 30 - Oct 6. To see those concepts, click the banner or go to the CONCEPT OF THE WEEK page. Voting ends on Friday, but don't wait. Get those votes in now. Like, right now!
The new writer here on HJC for Saturdays is Caz! Caz has been contributing concepts to HJC for nearly two years now, if not more. He's a Preds fan and is really excited at the opportunity to write for HJC! He'll likely tell you more about himself on Saturday.

That's right, I am a Preds fan, which means my posts will be very gritty, defensive, and will have no scoring system. (kidding)
