HJC Entry (by Brandon S.)
HJC Entry (by Kevin)
HJC Entry (by Stephen T.)
That's it for the entry phase of the HJC Jersey Competition. Phase 1 voting now begins. We will be using the Top 5 voting system. There's more to it than that, so please read all of the details on the HJC JERSEY tab.
Los Angeles Kings concept (by Kirk)
Kirk has re-coloured someone else's previous Kings concept to create this one. As a result, it loses a lot of quality. All sorts of blank templates, that can be re-coloured easily, can be found on the TEMPLATES page at the bottom with all of the links.
St. Louis Blues concept (by Rylen)
Maybe I'm scared of this because it's different. However, it does seem to have some potential. I can't seem to put my finger on it, but I could see myself really liking this after a few tweaks. Perhaps it's the awesome execution?
Montreal Canadiens concepts (by Stephen T.)
These are based on an old jersey that I have never seen before. This is probably one of Stephen's best executed concepts. I think the numbers, instead of having a double outline, should have a thick one coloured outline.
Berlin Auto concepts (by Chuckie)
Chuckie has used the logo of the minor league baseball team, the Bowling Green Hot Rods, to create this concept. I like the German striping on the jerseys and the Jets' numbers fit into the theme well. I like the black gloves, but definitely not the white ones.
Florida Panthers conepts (by Jesper)
In my opinion, you either have to go with sleeve striping or a stripe across the chest, not both. It's like two different jerseys are fighting for my attention on the same sweater. The note that I made about Stephen's numbers above also applies here.
Los Angeles Kings concept (by Brandon S.)
I actually like this jersey after originally thinking it was too plain. The logo is definitely fauxback! Thinking further, I might like this jersey even better if a beer league team named the Kings used it. Another really well executed concept!
Los Angeles Kings concept (by Kevin)
Kevin wants to bring back the purple alt from the pre-Edge era, with some mods. I'm okay with the team name on the front of the sweater, but not the back also. Personally, I would switch the shoulder patches with the crown logo used on the helmet.
Buffalo Sabres concept (by HJC)
I know the Sabres aren't going to have a 3rd jersey again for a long time, but in case they change their minds I've come up with this. I tried to incorporate a few of the elements that have been used as part of Sabres' identities over the years. Such as, numbers on the front, primary logo used as shoulder patches, and the stripes on the socks are the same as the design used from 1980-1996. The blue and yellow are the current shades used.
Tampa Bay Lightning concept (by Mazzz)
I think the stripes on the jersey are the real highlight here. I prefer the new logo to the old one, but that debate might be split 50/50 between everyone. Try to clean up those white pixels around the logo. It may be an attempt at an outline, but it's a little sloppy. Also, this may just be me, but that jersey is a Nike Swift cut with Reebok logos placed on it. Not digging that.
Tex - 3
Kevin (OSH) - 2
Mason H. - 2
Brandon C. - 1
Kevin (OTT) - 1

Just wanted to point this out real quick cause I noticed a comment was made yesterday: I purposely left the CCM logos on my fauxbacks to make then look like they are actually older. I figured as long as it was a CCM logo, it would be allowed by Reebok.
