Now for the biggest news of the day. The top 4 HJC jersey entries have been determined! Moving on will be Brandon C., Kevin, Ryan (myself), and Thomas L. The almost full results of the vote can be seen below. I have not shown the results of the Top 4 so that it doesn't influence any votes. The top 4 are also not listed in the order they finished, but rather alphabetically.

The "out of 10" ratings I was giving yesterday seemed to be popular. If you don't like them please leave a comment. Today I will continue to do them and if they continue, keep in mind that they are just an instant analysis by me. There's no guarantee that they will be consistent, merely just how I feel about that concept as I am posting it.

If you sent me a Lightning/Buccaneers concept in the last couple of weeks please let me know who you were. I'm sorry, I saved the file but I forgot to attach a name to it.

Florida Panthers concepts (by Kirk)

So, this was a Sharks concept? Put the effort in and use accurate players or generic names. The lines are also not straight because the re-colouring job is terrible. Please use the TEMPLATES page for everything you need. 2/10

Sarnia Sting concept (by NB14)

NB14's entry for the Sting's competition. I feel like this is another re-colour job. The two shades of black is one of my biggest aggravations. Also, the hem stripes are bleeding outside of the jersey. These are details that take concepts to the next level. 3/10

Sarnia Sting concept (by Rylen)

I was never against the Islanders old 3rd jersey, so I don't mind the design that Rylen has used here. I;m not a fan of the hem number or the yellow gloves. I do really like how he has given credit for his design inspiration. That's not required, but heavily recommended. 6/10

Sarnia Sting concept (by Dylan A.)

This one made the Sting's top 8 (entry #2). Even though I am voting for Justin's entry (entry #3), if I could have a 2nd place vote it would be for Dylan's. I will however give this a COTW nomination! The execution is perfect and because Dylan works in vector, the look of the concept is very professional. 9/10

Seattle Stars concepts (by Elias)

Elias has moved the Stars to Seattle, I'm sure people in Dallas aren't going to be happy about that. The jersey design is cool, but I think I would like this better as a Dallas concept. If a team moves but chooses to keep its name, I think a thorough re-design should be done. Execution note, the tie-down on the white sweater was not re-coloured white. 7/10

Boston Bruins concept (by Scott)

Scott's concepts are usually pretty solid. Yet, he has decided to go and re-make one of his earlier submissions. I like this new version better, but I feel that the black hem is too much black. Perhaps going with either the black hem OR cuffs would be better? 8/10

Toronto Maple Leafs concept (by Tyler G.)

There is quite a bit of support for the Leafs to wear St. Pats sweaters for the 2013 Classic. I just don't think they will because you can't sell the non-hockey fan on red and white versus blue and white and then send out a green team. Solid concept, good execution, but it seems like the player number is too small. 7/10

Quebec Nordiques concept (by Jérémi H.)

I feel like I've seen this Nordiques logo before. If not, sorry. EDIT -> The Nordiques logo is by Fabio Bura. This kind of stuff really pisses me off! How many times do I have to mention that you need to cite logo concepts if you use them! The execution here is very good and I like the unique striping. The numbers are Nashville's numbers and because they're so unique, it's terribly obvious. I also don't like that the numbers on the back are not the same as the TV numbers. 7/10 (changed to 1/10 for not citing logo)
