Columbus Blue Jackets Alternate Jersey Concept - Christian L.
Christian uses the an unused Jackets logo not only on the front of the jersey, but also as the inspiration of the striping. The striping on the arms is a bit extreme. I'd have it at less of an angle. I notice the striping goes underneath the "9" on the right sleeve. Then I noticed the "9's are uneven. I don't care for the hem stripe dropping off the bottom of the jersey. I'd also add the current primary logo to the shoulders. Christian's on the right path here but as it is things are a bit off.

Edmonton Oilers Alternate Jersey Concept - Christian L.
Ahh I love this logo. I miss it. I'm up for Oilers bringing it back ASAP. I'm not such a huge fan of the striping. The striping has a very throwback-y feel... and also quite busy, while the logo is very clean and simple. I think you get rid of the chest stripes and the bottom set of arm stripes and the jerseys looking better suited for this logo. Or at the very least get rid of the hem stripe.

Boston Bruins Alternate Jersey Concept - Daniel L.
Bruins in yellow. Who hasn't wanted to see this full time? I like how this jersey stays simple and similar to the style of the home and away jerseys without being a simple color swap. I'm not huge on how high the black on the arms goes up. Or how the white stripe going across the top of the chest bulges. I don't care for that white stripe on the back either. A few little tweaks gets this jersey game ready in my opinion.

All Star Game Jersey Concepts - Stephen T.
"No White" seems to be the theme here. I think both jerseys have a lot of blue on it and might cause some trouble distinguishing teams. This could work like the 200-01 ASG where the goalies wore one of these jerseys and the players wore a different, while the other team wears either a mostly red or mostly white set. While I think this is a neat idea I think it leaves the arms to bare, and I don't like the light blue NHL shield on a jersey with dark navy blue all over.

Pittsburgh Penguins Concept - Stephen T.
Robo Pen is back! I'd rather see him on both jerseys. I don't see why the yoke is so big on the white but not on the black jersey. This jersey has very strong influences from the 90's Pens. I think this set might look better with sport gold. I don't really care for this much vegas gold.

Carolina Hurricanes Concept - s2dio
s2dio redoes the Hurricanes' jerseys which had been redesigned over the last summer. A lot more silver/gray is being used. It looks better on the white than the red. The striping is alright too, but those socks! Obviously the white socks look better with the white jersey. But the red jersey should have red socks!

Vancouver Canucks Concept - Stephen T.
Nothing too spectacular here. Kind of your usual Canucks concept featuring simple striping. Kinda like the dark shade of blue here but I think I'd rather see it a bit brighter. I'd like the hem and the bottom of the socks on the white set to be blue like the cuffs. I do like the idea to make the logo mostly white on the blue jersey, just like the old days.

Vancouver Canucks Alternate Jersey Concept - Matt Mc.
Matt combines the Millionaires era with the modern Canucks. I think this makes for a better permanent alternate then their current Millionaires sweater. Only thing I'm not too sure about is the arm "V". Never been too big a fan of that look. The pants stripe seems out of place too.

2015 Winter Classic Concept - Bruins vs. Capitals - Ryan H.
Ryan decides the Caps will wear red at their Winter Classic while the visiting Bruins will wear white. The Caps' jersey resembles the late 90's early 00's Capitals but in the current red and white. I'm ok with the slanted arm stripes but the stripes seem a little too slanted. Pretty straightforward jersey for the Bruins. Plays off of jerseys from their early years. The logo is really nice so extra points for the homemade logo!

Nashville Predators Concept - s2dio
s2dio creates a new set for the Preds. Very swoopt and the jerseys now feature a double blue color scheme. I really like how the stripes change direction from one jersey to the next. Now, bold move on using no white jersey. Especially since the Preds use Yellow as a dark jersey. If there's no white jersey there should be no white socks. Those socks might be the only thing keeping this from a COTW nom from me. I really like the jerseys here though.

I like S2dio's template but I wish the socks weren't the same color cause I think that's against an NHL rule, the home jersey in the canes set is a lot better than what they wear now, and the white socks actually help it from becoming a red candy cane blob. I wish the white jersey had a red yoke as that's the only thing I like about their new jerseys. I also wish S2dio used the classic storm warning hem stripe!
COTW Nomination to Matt Mc's Canucks concepts. I liked his Preds one more, but I was unable to nominate it because of time, so I think I owe him one. Still a cool concept and should be in next week's COTW Vote!
You always kill me with the socks thing, guys... I will have to stop insisting on that.
I loved the canucks concept, but I'd rathermsee it with the classic logo.
Matt Mc's Canucks! I love the darker maroon, the whole uniform would look pretty sharp in action. Top notch man. If I had to nit pick, I would probably do the helmet the darker maroon as well, none the less... worthy of the SECOND for sure, COTW nom.
@s2dio - you make some really top notch jerseys but the mismatched socks tend to throw the whole look off. Like I said with the Nashville concept, I love those jerseys, but the socks don't match either jersey and it's just odd since there isn't a white jersey there to begin with.
