Saturday: 2017 HJC Open Final Four
The winner of the COTW-June vote was Dylan N!
I said all the nice things about Dylan's concept last week. This week I will simply mention that this Knights concept now moves into the 2nd Quarter Vote. It's incredible to think that 6 months from now we will be close to crowning the 2017 Concept of the Year!
Jake, Taylor, Brendan, and Andrew are the four artists that have survived and make up the Final Four of the HJC Open. Here are the results from the Quarter-Finals.
A couple of large victories and a couple close votes. This will make the Semi-Finals extremely close! Andrew has the capability to upset Jake, but he will have to bring his best concept forth, probably of the year. Taylor and Brendan will be a coin toss. Both can win this one and someone will be eliminated despite having a killer concept.
Good luck to all four of you!
The winner of the COTW vote for June 30 - July 6 was Ryan H!
This Ryan H. guy sucks! This is only his 2nd COTW of the year. Seriously Ryan H. if you're reading this just stop sending in concepts right now because you suck!
PS - Thanks for the votes.
The winners from April, May, and June will now come together for the 2nd Quarter Vote! The field is made up of Ryan H, JJ, and Dylan N. If you are logged into a Google account you will be able to see the wheat coloured banner on the right. You can place your vote there until Friday at noon Eastern time.
We had 8 concepts at least seconded for COTW. As per the COTW rules, that's too many concepts to be in the COTW vote. It drastically increases the likeliness of a tie. So, the two concepts that were thirded will be in the vote this week. It's a rematch of the 1995 Stanley Cup Final! The nominees are in the black poll on the side of the page. Voting ends on Friday at noon Eastern time.
EA Sports has a really cool page up showing what appears to be the Adidas jersey templates they will be using for NHL 18 for all 31 teams. You can check out the page HERE. You can click on each team's set and it will expand. Still waiting on Ottawa, Toronto, Arizona, and Nashville to see some road whites. What's taking so long?

I lost in the 2nd round 2 years ago by 4 votes if I recall right and 2 votes this year. Good Luck to Taylor next round.
