On to the concepts!

Anthony C.- Team Canada
Anthony starts the day out with a Team Canada set that brings feelings of the Winnipeg Falcons of old. Crest looks great and the typeface on the rear fits it nicely. That being said, Canada is a red and white nation, so the prominence of black over right here really takes away from that, leaving a lot to be designed.
Overall Rating: 6.0/10
Not a bad look, but one more befitting the NHL team from Canada's capital, rather than the nation, itself.
Danny R.- Grande Prairie Storm
Danny continues his AJHL series with a current Pittsburgh Penguin and Grande Prairie alumnus Carter Rowney. Danny sets this look up nicely by basing the #OB and striping pattern off the chest logo with white outlined in blue and yellow. The chest logo leads to some confusion, though, as the GP runs together to look like more of a CP. Although that's more the the team's fault then your own. One misstep here is the pants, where the lightning bolt breaks the consistency of the rest of the set and would fit the uniform better with the same blue-then-yellow pattern of the rest of the set.
Overall Rating: 9.5/10
A Grande look for Grande Prairie that's one detail away from greatness
Danny R.- Lloydminister Bobcats
From the Pens to the Preds (well, the Free Agent Pool), as we go to Lloydminister alumnus Scott Hartnell. While a decent look, we run into some color issues here where the black-out striping clashes with the prominence of white in the script and #OB. On that topi, the chest logo isn't the strongest choice as the detailed text of such a long word yields it illegible when viewed from a distance.
Overall Rating: 7.0/10
The key of a white-less look is the abscence of white and here, it's presence in the text here really brings this one down.
Lucas D.- Anaheim Ducks
Lucas rounds out the day with his first of two concepts. The unused Mighty Ducks logo works really well here to callback to that era without simply rehashing something that's been done before. I'm a big supporter of the eggplant and jade and that's no different here. The identical striping patterns create two distinct looks while still pulling the sets together. This set begs for some shoulder patches though, as the shoulders on both set are left just a bit too bare
Overall Rating: 9.5/10
The quack pack is back, ladies and gentlemen.
Lucas D.- Wheeling Nailers
The Golden Knights proved this year steel gray and vegas gold pose a menacing combination and Lucas adopts it nicely for Wheeling here. The striping pattern is effective here providing a callback to the early 2000s Penguins while still giving Wheeling a look of their own. Unfortunately, this look leaves me with similar feelings to the current Knights away, as nice as it looks, the white jersey is just missing a touch more black to fit in well with the home look. The alternate beefs up the look even more by subbing in the colors of the parent team.
Overall Rating: 9.0/10
The Nailers'd be Wheeling and dealing in this set. Nice work!
That's all for today folks.
