It's the summer and a lot of artists are taking a break from hockey. So we could use some concepts. Perhaps some of you need a creative kick in the ass. Here are a few informal challenges I have for you.

• Create an alternate jersey for one of the teams in the NHL's inaugural season (1917-18) 
• The host for the 2016 ECHL All-Star Classic has yet to be named. Come up with a host, a logo, and a set of jerseys
• Find a local team. Something obscure. Teach us about them and create a new jersey for them.
