FLA Top 5 vote (ends Sunday @ 11:59pm EST)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trinity Pioneers concepts (by Brady)
Again, all of the jerseys just seem to keep following the same template. I do like the striping, it just seems a bit uninspired. I think just a T logo would do the job nicely on both of these sweaters. If you wanted the TRINITY on the road, perhaps it could act as a NOB. Every player would wear TRINITY there rather than a name. Congrats to Brady for completing this entire series of New Hampshire high school hockey teams! 7/10

Manchester Monarchs concept (by MasonII)
This concept is pretty fun. The team's city name seems soccer themed as is, but Mason has come up with a soccer kit for them! It's cool, but I also think it could be even better if in typical soccer fashion a sponsor's logo was splashed across the front. 7/10

Philadelphia Flyers concepts (by Stephen T.)
I very much like the jersey stripes being based on the wings in the Flyers' logo. Nice idea there! I like that Stephen tried to do something new with the logo, unfortunately it looks like a picnic table now. I also think that the traditional Flyers' font and numbers would look better as opposed to the old Leafs' font and numbers. 7/10

Peoria Rivermen concept (by Mike S.)
I really like that Mike at least tried with the steering wheel coming from the collar. It just looks too much like a bib, in my opinion. Both the arm and hem stripes look good, but each looks like they are trying to do their own thing. I'd go with one or the other. I'd also make the yellow a little more vibrant to differentiate itself from the vintage white. 6/10

St. Louis Blues concepts (by Ian)
Wow, I really think that all of these jerseys are well done! They all look great. My small idea is that they are all strong enough and none of them need shoulder patches. 8/10

Milwaukee Admirals concepts (by Cody)
Anyone who reads this blog could create better jerseys than what Milwaukee wears now! This idea by Cody is pretty good. On an execution note, watch the spacing of the yokes to the TV numbers. The 7 is so much closer to the yoke than the 3. They should be equal. 7/10

Vancouver Canucks concept (by Jeremy T.)
This is an idea that seems to be gaining in popularity with concept artists, a blue version of the 40th anniversary jersey. Jeremy has made a small change which is including a white stripe on the arms. What do you guys think, is it needed? I say no. 7/10

Vancouver Canucks concepts (by WinnipegJets96)
I definitely prefer option 1 to option 2. The white in the V on option 2 just doesn't sit well with me. On option 1, I like how the V is under the simple stripes. I think it could be even cooler if the stripes that make the V ran up the arm to the collar, just like sleeve stripes. 7/10

Vancouver Canucks concepts (by MasonII)
The blue jersey looks fine as a Nike Swift concept. When the blue cuffs are added, and subsequently cut off by the template, on the white and green jerseys that's when this one goes sour on me. The execution is quite nice on these concepts. 7/10

Syracuse Crunch concepts (by Scott M.)
These are some really nice looking choices from Scott for the Crunch sweaters. I love the silver trim and collar inserts. These are classy jerseys and you can clearly tell who the team is affiliated with. As always, execution is grand. 8/10

New York Rangers concept (by Darren H.)
I will start by saying, while the logo is cool the Rangers would probably never wear an Americans styled logo. It would be like the Islanders folding and then in 50 years the Rangers wearing an Islanders styled logo. The concept itself is decently executed and the colours look nice. My issue with it is that the colours used on the shoulder patches are not the same as the ones used on the jersey. 7/10

Dallas Stars concepts (by Justin C.)
I love the jerseys!!! A personal choice of mine would be to go with the shoulder yokes on the alternate only. However, I'm guessing that it's based on the North Stars' jerseys of the 80's. I can't draw well at all, so it's hard for me to critique the logo, but the nose looks more "cartoonish" than "logo-ish", if that makes sense. It's still a good logo, better than the "mooterus". COTW nom from me! 8/10

The additional sleeve stripe on the Canucks anniversary jersey is unnecessary, and the sleeve V is way too thin. The concept as a whole is good though.

I'll second Justin C.'s COTW nom.
