Monday: Let It Snow!
Hey guys, I'm in a great mood as Oakville just got some snow (flurries but still) and its hard for it to put anyone down, unless your shovelling it.
Here's a link to yesterday's weekend update, with a podcast! Answer the weekly poll, ask questions for the next possible podcast and see last week's winners.
COTW resets this week, all new concepts, check them out and comittee members can vote until thursday evening. Also in contests, the expansion contest moves into its concept phase, remember to submit you concept with the provided logos from Stephane and Hermilo, and make them look professional.

In not so surprising news, the All Star game has been canceled in Columbus, and I'm sure not a lot of us (unless you like in Columbus) are too upset, and it will join the likes of 1994 and 2005.
Today's concepts feature a whole lick of alternates, Bastian gives us a Stars redesign and Chris L. gives the flying V a make over, lets dive in!

Jacksonville Jaguars Concept (By: Brian B.)
What I like: A lot to say the least, the unique yoke and claw marked stripes, the numbers that match the jag's actual numbers and the major incorperation of teal and gold.
What I don't like: The vector Reebok logo, the positioning of the t.v. numbers
Improvements: Use the script Reebok logo and put one tv number on each sleeve. (8/10)
Vancouver Canucks Concept (By: Canucklehead (cool e-pen name))
What I like: The Johnny Canuck logo is cool, the V pants are really cool. The use of green and the V striping that isn't the flying V.
What I don't like: The overlapping of the striping, the lack of white and the smallness of the logo
Imporvements: Put the striping on the jersey, not just over in (screening it), adding white and make the logo like 15% bigger. (6/10)
Colorado Avalanche Concepts (By: Snow Monster)
What Do I Like: The white alternate! it looks great! the striping works really nicely. The Maroon jersey is also cool, I like the yoke outline and most of the striping.
What Don't I Like: The lack of white on the maroon jersey
Improvements: Add a white stripe on the maroon jersey, and I'm flattered but I didn't make template. (7/10)
Dallas Stars Concept (By: Bastian S.)
What I Like: The green, yellow and white is a classic colours scheme, the execution. The addition of silver is good too for seperation.
What I don't like: Not much, the lack of yellow and silver on the pants.
Imporvements: Make the pants the same striping as the green jersey. (8.5/10)
Boston Bruins Concept (By: Keens O.)
What I like: The Winnie the Pooh logo is great. The blueish black being used (a classic Boston colour), The through-back logo is awespme, the striping, almost bee like.
What don't I like: The lack of white on the arms.
Improvements: Add white in between the stripes (9/10)
Vancouver Canucks Concepts (By: Chris L.)
What I like: The come back of the flying V. The transition into blue white and green is done well. The 3rd is good but has some updates. The arm patches with the whale head/ stick in rink logo)
What don't I like: The execution of the shoulder patches (The shouldn't be whole)
Improvements: Cut the shoulder patches in half (9/10)
Philadelphia Flyers Concept (By: Justin C.)

What I Like: The striping, the new logo that takes shots from the classic logo. The Justin signature execution (as in its really really good)/
What Don't I Like: The way Justin does the T.V. numbers, I know its how he does it so don't take that too hard. The thing around the A.
Improvements: Do the T.V. numbers regularlys and get rid of the "shield". (9/10)

What I Like: ANYTHING is better than what Colorado's current look.. The creativity in the yokes and striping, shots from the pre edge look.
What I don't like: The lack of black on the number.
Imrpovments, add some faint black to the numbers (9.5/10) COTW Nom. from me!

Keens for COTW
I love both of them, but I think I'll nominate Keens's Bruins concept, since I'm sure someone will nominate Justin. Also, I like the "shield" for the Alt. captain A.
Where are the competition entries?

@ winnipegjets96: All of my concepts from my NFL series have the reebok logo instead of the script. It's too late to change them.
T@ Brian, thats fine, its just for future reference, I still like the concept
On a related note, I had no idea that every recent concept had the script, until it was pointed out. Definitely something I'll be looking out for in the future.
