Weekend Update (June 23)
The winner of the COTW vote for June 10-16 was Gerard, obviously.
Obviously, voter turnout was bad. If this does continue I may have to go to a standard poll for voting. Problem with that is that those polls are vulnerable to trolls messing with them.
The new COTW nominees have been listed on the side of the page. Lots of concepts were initially nominated (13), but only two were seconded. Voting ends on Friday as always.
The official 2013 HJC Open shirt is now available at the HJC Store. Click the image below to go there or click the red icon with the shirt at the top right of the page.
During the week I released the "Drag & Drop" template that I was working on. It works using layers so it's good for both Paint.net and Photoshop. Download it HERE or by clicking the link at the top of the page.
For those of you who have downloaded it, what do you think so far? Any feedback would be great.
The Logo Competition entry phase has ended. Now we move onto the voting phase. Voting works a little differently this time. There are three divisions and each division gets its own set of TOP 2 votes. Be sure to click the red banner at the top of the page for all of the details. Voting ends on Friday.
A new competition has sprung up here at HJC and this one involves a big prize. Ray has a beer league team called the Madmen and he is putting up a prize of a jersey and $100 if you win. You MUST read all of the rules if you hope to enter. Click the grey banner with the falling silhouette to see those rules. Entries must be in by Saturday.
Full Results (They were all Gerard's concepts)
Oil Kings - 2
Hershey - 1
Roughriders - 1

I noticed on the Classic Body stitching layer, on the lefts side of the front jersey, theres one pixel missing to complete it. I know it's nothing, but..that's the only negative thing I've seen from it, great work on it Ryan!
I really like the drag'n drop. I've been playing around with it and noticed there is no NHL tag, only the crest. Maybe we could get the Penguins' third jersey stripes, I know that they are wider.
I've always used this template and now I can make some better jerseys. A+ !
NHL tags only exist on jerseys for sale to the public. Jerseys worn by the players do not have tags.
The Penguins' 3rd jersey stripes are sublimated onto the jersey. For that use you would use the Arms layer called BLANK ARMS
Oh, didn't know that. Interesting.
