Holy S@#/ it's Tuesday!

Hey guys. Thanks to my girlfriend for reminding me to write this at 3:30PM today. Welcome back to HJC with you host, Steve "the badger" M. Ok, so that's not my nickname, but I felt like putting some weird nickname in there.

Anyways, we have a lot going right now at HJC. Between the 365 Club voting and COTW, it's a little more voting than you're use to.

Also, we have another competition that combines two of my favorite things: international play and the great outdoors (be careful typing that in Google Images by the way). I already have a good idea of what I want to do for that competition but 

 I'm sure others will follow.

Onto the concepts

     Truman Keith- Milwaukee Brewers

Positives: Using the new alternate uniform's colors as the primary colors was a good idea for the uniforms. Also, the classic striping works well with the logo and numbers.

Negatives: I'd like to see the striping of the jersey and socks matched on the pants. Also, maybe a navy then yellow outline on the numbers?

Overall: 8.5/10

     

     Taylor Roy- Albany Devils

Positives: It's nice that you used a modern style yoke and made the dark jersey black instead of red.

Negatives: While the white jersey looks good with the black hem and cuffs, the white hem and cuffs on the dark jersey is a little excessive. I get that it's reversed but sometimes it's not the best idea to do that.

Overall: 8/10

     Brooks Freeman- Kootenay Ice

Positives: usually I'm not for the shards of ice as striping but you balanced it really well on both jerseys. Great logo as well.

Negatives: add the ice striping to the socks and it'll be perfect.

Overall: 9/10 COTW NOMINEE

     Lucas Daitchman- New Jersey Devils

Positives: The Devils' colors actually look pretty good on the Oilers template.

Negatives: This is just unholy. The Devils -Oilers hybrid logo is just strange and I those numbers look a little too crooked.

Overall: 7.5/10
