Sunday: Bringing Home the Bacon!

Hi everybody. Welcome back to HJC! I didn't have any time this week to do any news but I'm working on something as well as the pairs comp because it's due by March 3rd!. Before we get to the concepts, I'd like to remind everybody that you have to vote for COTW-January and COTW. Ok let's do this!

Brendan K- St. Louis Eagles

Positives: The logos and whole idea behind them really drives this whole set and that's something that I like to see in a concept. As for the uniform, I think that chest striping works really well with the primary jersey set by being cut off in the front and back. Also, It's nice to see the old logo on the alternate.
Negatives: The overall sleeve design is a little busy for my taste when it comes to the chest striping and that teal (or charcoal, I have a color deficiency) just looks weird being that prominent on the uniform.
Overall: 8/10

Matthew C- Winnipeg Jets 

Positives: I'm surprised this concept hasn't been done already but you did a really good job of it on this jersey set. The colors mix well and it's not super busy.
Negatives: That red numbering is just bothersome. Turn them dark blue.
Overall: 8.5/10

Mike F- Denmark National Team 

Positives: First off, it's nice to see a actual primary set and two alternates. Anyways, while I say that the first two are pretty classic, I think that the second alternate with the simple double stripe on the sleeves looks beautiful as well as that 90's style alternate above it. Both give a different feel from the traditional style of the primary.
Overall: I really don't have any issues with these. Good Job.
Overall: 8.5/10

 Taylor R- Calgary Flames

Positives: That striping is really sharp on that jersey. The angles and color selection on the sleeves really make it unique and cohesive with that simple hem. Also, It's nice to see the roundel alternate on the front of the jersey as well as a non-traditional stripe on the side.
Negatives: The numbers but that's just a small issue
Overall: 9/10 COTW NOMINEE!

 Zack H- Winnepeg Jets

Positives: This is something I wouldn't mind seeing happen in real life. You did a really good job of making the classic style jersey on a modern template. Enough said.
Negatives: My only negative is that they sleeve numbers are crushed in between the yoke and sleeve stripes.
Overall: 8.75/10
