Sunday:Nephew+Mini Goalie Stick= Injured Uncle

Good Afternoon everybody. I hope you guys are having a great Sunday. The Pens lost last night in Washington but it's ok because they still have just ONE FREAKING GAME to win against the Caps.

Anyways, as the title suggests, I was visiting my brother and nephew who loves his mini Penguins goalie stick. So much so that he decided to whack me with it until I played with him during the hockey game. As much as I love that little guy I really hope he stops using hard plastic objects on me when he wants to play.

Anthony C- Pittsburgh Penguins

Positives: Taking the idea of a Penguins set from the recent SS game looks pretty good and I think you did decent job overall of using the Adidas template to copy it as close as possible. My real favorite is the white jersey with the yellow and black sleeves though.
Negatives: That hem stripe not connecting all the way around just doesn't look good on this. Also, the white jersey's collar could use some contrast instead of going straight white. Finally, a back of the uniform would be nice.
Overall: 7.75/10

Brooks F- Nashville Predators 90's 

Positives: Really digging the curved stripe you have going across the chest of the jersey to play off of the tooth of the logo. Also, the pants stripping is a nice touch.
Negatives: That half sleeve that covers the jersey just looks strange with the stripe coming down. It would be cool to see that stripe go on the back as well.
Overall: 7.75/10

Brooks F- Pittsburgh Penguins 90's  

Positives: Here's how old I am. I remember the first time the penguins wore the gradient jerseys in the 90's and thinking how cool they were. Brook, I think you did a pretty decent job overall on the jersey making the four stripes just white with no background and keeping the gradient. Also, the black triangle yoke on the jerseys looks great.
Negatives: It may be the purist Pittsburgh fan in me, but the numbers just aren't working for this jersey and the white jersey would look a 100 times better with a black accent stripe on the gradient.
Overall: 8/10

T.C. M- St. Cloud State

Positives: Keeping in tradition of using a chest stripe, it looks really good overall with the arm stripping and simple hem stripes. You can't really add more to it than that.
Negatives: Not really a negative but the plans would look nice as being plain black.
Overall: 8.5/10

T.C. M- Chattanooga Mocs 

Positives: So Chattanooga actually has hockey but it's only roller hockey. That being said, I think you nailed this set. The stripping with the logo is great, the yellow with the blue and silver just really pops with the stripping combo you have going on, and the numbers are great looking as well.
Negatives: None
Overall: 9/10 COTW NOMINEE!
