The HJC Playoff Pool continues. Considering we already know most of the Western Conference side of the brackets for Round 2 I would expect one of those series to begin on Thursday, or earlier if the East ends early too. So, be heads up because you will need to hop onto HJC and get your 2nd Round Playoff Picks in before the puck drops on Thursday (likely).

In case you missed the announcement, we have re-branded the HJC Podcast. It is now more appropriately called the Jersey Nerds Podcast. It's hosted by Jersey Nerds and it's for Jersey Nerds. It's the Jersey Nerds Podcast!

 

The Podcast used to go up on Saturdays, but with the re-brand you will now find the Jersey Nerds Podcast on Thursdays. At some point in the future we hope to be able to provide the podcast to you live! Don't worry as it will still be available for download too.

American networks need to decide whether they want to cover hockey or not...

I would love to think that the NHL would address these issues with the networks individually, but the perception is that they truly have no pull whatsoever. It's this kind of stuff that hurts the growth of the game far more than NBC showing a weekly regular season game helps the sport grow.
