Anaheim Ducks (2025) - (Dylan W.)
Here's something you don't see too often. A concept set in the future. Dylan shows us what he would like to see the Ducks wearing in 13 years, and I like it. The green and orange color scheme works well with the Ducks. I don't care for the recolored "D" logo and I'm also confused as to why the "RBK" logo is back, technically that could be considered throwback Reebok seeing as how they haven't used that logo for a few years. Though it does look more futuristic. Also, you really think Edmonton will let the Nug get away? I guess we'll have to wait and see. Also, the background is a bit distracting and you almost lose the green jersey, I'd make the background a bit more subtle to avoid this.

Detroit Red Wings Alternate Concept - (Frank C.)
Frank gives the Red Wings a new alternate. I might hate the team but I like the "D" logo being on the jersey. It probably would make a better shoulder patch but it looks good on the chest too. I'm not sold on the actual design of the jersey though. The striping is fine but it's the white upper arm that's throwing it off for me.

HC Lev Praha (KHL) Concept - (Jake88)
Ahh, the KHL, haven't had to hear much about them since the Lockout and thank goodness. The unique yoke, ribbon, thing, is what sells this concept. I really dig it. The striping is really nice too. Perhaps add some black as number trim or something because it's in the logo but that's just the nit picker in me coming out. Also, because of that ribbon, the blue yoke starts farther back than it should, so I think it'd look really nice if the yoke went further back and included the name in the yoke like the Hurricanes new threads.

Jake stays in Russia for his next concept which features the Dynamo team. I mentioned liking the Detroit "D" well I think I like this one better. Not very flashy jerseys but with the simple logo it's not needed. Don't really care for the piping down the arms but it makes the thin pant stripe work better. Also, the pit stains don't ever look good to me. Also, nit picking, but the numbers on the back seem spaced out a little too far to me.

Here's the most unique concept of the day. The jersey is based off of the costume worn by the kid on the cover of Rage Against The Machine's "Evil Empire" album. I feel like the "e" could be moved up a bit and the stars on the shoulders are a bit unnecessary but other than that it's pretty good. You could make a case for the stars though seeing as how the album cover does technically feature a star. I also like how the font used is all crusty and old looking like on the cover. The cape on the back is pretty spot on. Very unique concept and I really like when we see those.

The first thing that comes to mind when I see these jerseys is the 1980 US Men's hockey jerseys. which is good, those are classics. I looked up the program to see their jerseys and it looks like they wear white Rangers jerseys. I kind of see this as a slight improvement, especially with the "DRUM" on the front and not a script logo like what they were using in the pics I saw. I do wish that the Mountain logo in the bottom right was used somewhere, like as a shoulder patch.

Stephen introduces a new set of sweaters for the Wild. They are more or less recolored versions of their current red jersey. The only thing I really like on this set of jerseys is the logo used on the front of the jersey. I don't care for the striping pattern, similar issue with the Red Wings jersey from earlier today. I just don't seem to care for colored upper arms.

Tom bases this new alternate for the Hawks off of my favorite Blackhawks jersey ever, so it's already a winner in my book. It's a slightly more conservative look when it comes to the actual striping pattern, just not the placing. The only thing I don't care for in the "C" logo in the striping. It gets lost. I didn't even see it at first.

Frank's back to close out the day but this time brings the Devils of New Jersey to play. Well the first two jerseys are exactly what they wear now, so it was a little unnecessary to include those. All you really needed was this new black alternate, which I'm diggin' by the way. I like the darker look the logo has to it with the black and white swapped. I wish you'd used the normal Devils font on the back for the numbers though. I like how bold they are. I also don't think the black sweater needs to have a tie down collar. One execution error that I'm noticing though is the Reebok vector on the back of the sweater and not the "REEBOK" wordmark. It's more accurate.
