Monday: Concepts Come Marching In!!!
Hey Guys, Happy labo(u)r day, I'm adding u's to wo(u)rds to poke fun of the Canadian/American difference in some words in the spirit of Labo(u)r Day!
Here are your voting reminders:
Here are the Anaheim Ducks entry that have come in so far:

Jake88: Scratch that, I misread the comment which said it violated the rules, my bad!
On to the Concepts:
Binghamton Senators Concepts (By: Andrew G.)
The Baby Sens have decent jerseys has is, but these jerseys are an improvement! The traditional Sens throwback striping actually looks good with the modern logos, and even the modern numbers. Everything compliments well against each other, especially the chest stripe. The red numbers may not be very visible though, but I can't think of anything to make them more visible, other than stopping the stripe there, which I wouldn't recommend. (8/10)
San Jose Sharks Concept (By: Dylan W.)
I really like this idea for the Sharks, the idea of a demi-throwback or faux-back, isn't too out of the question, as the Sharks are now over 20 years old. The striping reminds me of the original Sharks 3rd from 1997, but the hem striping looks better, and the shrunken arm bands looks better in the edge template. I would add the awesome shark fin logo on the shoulders. (9/10)
Kamloops Blazers Concepts (By: Jake88)
The Blazers wear Blues copies as of now, and while they don't look too bad, this idea is much better, but a little busy. I like the traditional striping but I'd make the striping match the blue jersey on the white jersey instead of just a copy. I think the flames on the arms are a great idea, but should be smaller so they don't interrupt the striping. (8/10)
San Jose Sharks Concept (By: Michael L.)
Even though the Sharks and the Dolphins are on other sides of the country, and the Dolphins haven't worn an orange jersey in 10 years, Michael L. combines the two teams to great this Dolphins inspired concept. The concept is quite bright, bit I'm assuming that was the point, and I do like the lack of black on the concept and orange increase. The logo looks a little too muted, like it was printed low on toner, and again, I'd add the awesome shark fin logo as a shoulder patch. (7/10)
Florida State Seminoles Concept (By: Mike S.)
Mike is a member of the Florida State marching band, and made a concept based on their uniforms. I love the should lapels on the shoulder, and the arrow headish things on the arms. The concept matches perfectly with the actually uniform; I'm not huge on the piping, but it was meant to match. (8/10)
Here are the actual uniforms for comparison
Toronto Maple Leafs Concept (By: Stephen T.)
Stephen edits the Maple Leafs Winter Classic jerseys, making them more accurate. The new yoke style is good, I like it better than the all white yoke, and the one thick stripe pants are good. The new collar I like more than the tie down for sure, but it's really just a well executed copy of the original Leafs jerseys. (8/10)
Calgary Flames Concepts (By: Taylor R.)
This concept would have fit in well in the 90's if the Flames hadn't modernized their logo and jerseys. The red jersey looks better than the white jersey, the colours are better balanced, but could use more white outside of the numbers. The white jersey has almost the right amount of red, but the yellow yoke isn't winning me over. (6/10)
Stompin' Tom Connors Concept (By: Ultra Mundane)
Stompin' Tom is a staple of hockey and Canada for sure, and a tribute jersey isn't a stretch by any means. I like the guitar striping, it really matches the logo, which I think is really cool as is but, like the numbers, could use a black outline , as with the striping. I'd also add some sort of cowboy hat shoulder patch to really compliment the jersey. (7/10)
Tampa Bay Lightning Concept (By: VKB)
Here's a great idea for a Tampa alternate, and this is the direction the team should have gone with in 2011. I like the darker blue and the all white logo on black. I'm curious to see how victory stripes would look on this jersey, same with a shoulder patch, like the on the concept (7/10)
Calgary Hitmen Concepts (By: Will B.)
As much as I love Calgary's current jerseys, this combines my two favourite eras in Calgary hockey, the 90's flames striping, and pink! The striping looks great, and really compliments the logo with the angles. The mask could be a good shoulder patch, but I really like the idea this concept has, and either jersey could be a good throwback. (8/10)
How did you like today's concepts! This has been one of the best executed posts I have ever done, and there are a few that had COTW potential. Go ahead and Nominate and comment on concepts you liked or didn't.
Happy Labo(u)r day to all, back to school tomorrow!

jake88's entry does not use the unused colours. It's their normal colours.
You should probably read the competition page again.
Should I remove it from the post?
Dylan's Sharks concept for COTW.
Sorry, but how did I break the rules? I didn't use any of the colors that appeared on the swatch. I used black (not green). I certainly didn't add any colors. And the "At least one home one road jersey" rule I followed also (at least). It says nowhere in the rules that you can't use their current colors as they are in the swatch. Can someone explain how I broke the rules.
Thanks,
Jake
I meant I used the colors that were on the swatch.
Jets96 should not have removed the entry. Previously I was commenting towards the Anonymous post.
Now after reading Jake's comment he somehow managed to follow the rules without properly knowing them. You're required to use at least two of the colours from the swatch but not add colours.
@Jake: You're all good.
I really want to apologize to Jake88, I didn't read the contest rules properly, and I shouldn't have removed the concept, either way, sorry sorry....sorry! Also, Dylan W. for COTW, forgot to put that in!
I hadn't given Mike S' Seminoles much thought the first time over, but the more I look at it, the more i think it turned out great. I understand the font choice for the numbers, but I'm thinking with a custom font to match the front FSU it would look perfect. Very unique concept.
