The Round Robin of the HJC Open has concluded. Here are the 16 artists that moved on to the Quarter Semi-Finals

Tie breakers were COTW and COTY wins in 2015. If that still didn't settle the tie then I had to step in and I chose whomever had the better Round Robin entry. In the case of the 16th seed, all had 5 votes and no COTW wins. I decided to reward Alan for reading HJC since the dawn of time by giving him entry into the bracket portion of the tournament.

Each artist that moved on will now have to create another new concept that will defeat their opponent. Entries are due by Tuesday at 11:59pm Eastern. Winners will be chosen by HJC reader votes!

It was at this point where I had planned to provide a history lesson about the War of 1812. Canadian and British troops marched into Washington D.C. and burned down the Presidential Palace (White House). There was a myth that the White House was originally pink and that it only became white when it was rebuilt after the burning. Turns out that was a load of crap (except for the burning). Well enjoy your holiday, but try to keep it down. Us Canadians are just one floor above you.
