Weekend Update (June 16)
The winner of the COTY-May vote is Alan!
The winner of the COTW vote for June 3-9 is Scott D!
The winner of the "Untoucables" Toronto ReDesign is Dylan W!
That does it for the "Untouchables" series. It was a lot of fun and I would like to thank Stephane for the idea.
The new COTW nominees have been listed on the side of the page. As you can see we know it will be Gerard who will win, but it's up to us to decide which of his concepts nominated is best. Voting ends on Friday.
A new competition has been announced. It's the first ever strictly logo competition on HJC. Click the banner at the top of the page for all of the details. If you're worried about your logo making skills, I'd suggest giving it a try anyways. That's because there is an Advanced division and a Beginner division. Entries are due by Friday.
As most of you have picked up on, the clock on the side of the page is counting down to Day 1 of the 2013 HJC Open. Last week's video was also a teaser, which most of you picked up on again. Did anyone take notice of the shadow at the end of that video?
Anyone wondering what that is? Why it's the Concept Cup!
That's the trophy which will now be awarded to the winner of the HJC Open every year. Of course, this trophy only exists in the digital world, but at least you get your name on it!
I've also worked out a logo for the tournament.
Look for the official 2013 HJC Open shirt to be popping up in the HJC Store soon. You can get to the store by clicking the t-shirt icon at the top right of the page.
I'll have a lot more information on the HJC Open next week.
I was hoping to be done my big Reebok Authentic Jersey Template project for this post, but I still need to complete about 6 more stitching patterns. If you missed it last week, I announced that I will be sharing a "drag-and-drop" template which should consist of every stitching variation ever seen in the NHL Reebok Edge era. Here's a rundown of what you'll get when it's completed. I've likely forgotten something on this list, so please don't tell me what I forgot until next week.

Will the new Reebok template be a .psd file, with the drag and drop items on separate layers, or a .png file?
PDN file first then I'll do PSD
You'll start with a blank jersey then add layers that you need
ARGH! I will win my 1st COTW this year, but congrats Scott! Also, top 5 in the Leafs contest, tied with Alan, a great concept maker, good results all around.
