Saturday: The End Is Near

This was a very big week on HJC. The HJC Open is coming to a close as we have reached the Final. We also reached the halfway mark of the COTW calendar by crowning our 2nd Quarter champion. Lets jump right into all of that news now...

Congrats to Matt! He had two concepts in this Quarterly Vote, so odds of him advancing were good. The voting was very close all week with Matt's solo concept slightly pulling away on Thursday. We will revisit this concept again at the end of January and we'll see then if it can stay hot while waiting for its competition (4th Quarter Winner).

This was Ryan's 2nd COTW win in a row! This is only our 3rd different winner of COTW in the last 6 weeks, after going the previous 6 weeks with 6 different winners. Congrats Ryan!

It's not tough to get a Google account if you don't have one and it's not just having a Gmail account. If you have a YouTube account that should work too. Voting ends Friday at noon Eastern. - I feel like we should be seeing the Winter Classic logo soon. Is it not about that time when one player from each team goes to the press conference to shoot pucks through the uprights? I guess this time they will try to shoot pucks over the outfield wall?

- I'm worried that the Adidas collar style used on the World Cup jerseys, will ruin the overall throwback and fauxback looks of future Winter Classic jerseys.

- What can the Hawks possibly wear this year? I suppose a white version of the 1940's jersey (91-92 throwback) would be really neat.

- If I had to guess what the Blues will wear. I'm saying a jersey that looks like Ozzy's mugshot with the unused original script logo.
