Here are your voting reminders for the week, as well as contest deadlines. Lets get those voting numbers up to double digits this week!
Here are the Colgate University Women's Hockey Autism Awareness Game entries which have come in so far:

As I promised yesterday....here are my predictions for this season, I just jumbled Ryan's predictions as I had a pretty similar predictions, some will like it, some will not!
I know many won't agree with me with the Canucks, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did make the playoffs, but I don't see them doing that well, same with the Stars. The Jets... I am biased in saying they will make it, but don't be surprised if Nashville's killer defence may over take them. The Caps and Blue Jackets are interchangeable, and Detroit and Montreal could bother be playoff teams. What do you guys think...good picks? Bad picks? Give your picks, I'm sure the other writers will do the same, and different opinions are good, leads to discussions.
Oh, also, I bought a new jersey, to add to my collection, and I want you guys to guess what it is. Here are the hints:
1. Made the playoffs 12 straight seasons wearing this jersey
2. A patriotic team
3. worn during an entertaining Winter Classic
4. White
On to the concepts!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Team Finland Concepts (By: Brady S.)
First off, I may have lost to Brady in fantasy baseball, maybe, but none the less...Finland. This goes along with the theme of the reviled Olympic jerseys, with minimalist designs, and this matches well to that theme. The colours are used well, and I like that the bright blue is the main blue on coloured jersey. I'm not sure if I like the lack of shoulder patches or numbers, and maybe a light blue yoke on the white jersey would look better. (7.5/10)
Winnipeg Jets Concept (By: Coby S.)
I love getting Jets concepts, they are after all the best team in the NHL. I'm not really feeling this concept though, mainly due to the lack striping. I like the inclusion of red, and the inclusion of the light blue and white, but that's where my liking ends. The red looks awkward, and should be used as a yoke or as an arm band, and would look better balanced on the bottom, or don't include it at all. (5/10)
Nickelodeon Fan Jersey Concepts (By: Gerard M.)
I'll be honest, I did not know what show this was from, until I looked at the kilt/shorts/skirt on the bottom of the jersey, and then it hit me...Hey Arnold! That in mind, the Arnold jersey looks great, matches his outfit from the show perfectly, and the kilt and name are a good shout out. The pink jersey, I think is from the obsessive girl who loves/hates Arnold, I like it too, and I think it matches the look from the show, but maybe not the orange. Execution looks good too. (8/10)
Seattle Emeralds Concepts (By: Gerard M.)
One thing that is hard to do in the concept world is make a good concept without using white, Gerard actually does this rather well, and while using a darker colour scheme on top of that. I've never understood why Emeralds is such a popular name for Seattle, just like Rainers, but I love the logo and colour scheme, I like the lack of white on the home and road, but maybe not on the alternate. It reminds me too much of the HORRENDUS Seattle Seahawks lime green jersey, but I think some tweaking good make the jersey look better. (8.5/10)
Slovan Bratislava Concepts (By: Jake88)
The Russian equivalent of the Robo Pens, Slovan's logo make way for many modern idea, and this is a good idea right here. I love the arm stripes and the numbers, those really match the logo well. I don't like the non matching hem stripes, I'd make the jerseys match more. (7/10)
Swift Current Broncos Concept (By: Jayson T.)
I love the Swift Current look, the gray and blue and black are a great, and I think they need a new alternate, as the Buff-a-slug trash jerseys they have now are terrible. Yes, this is a blatant cookie cutter jersey, but I like the idea, and I don't hate template concepts when done right, and this is done right. The blues don't match though, and the shoulder patches should go on to the back as well as the front. Also, the name is a little low, and the Reebok Vector should be the script. (6/10)
New York Islanders Concepts (By: Jeff C.)
The Islanders logo is heavily dated, it's good, but like the Oilers, it is a little dated, and Jeff suggests a new look. I'm not huge on the logo, but he jerseys make up for that. I like the great amount of white on the blue jersey and the balanced colours on the white jersey, though a little more orange wouldn't hurt. The same could be said with white on the orange jerseys logo, but still, this is a nice concept. (7/10)
St. Louis Blues Concepts (Kristofer M.)
This is classic Blues, no red, no dark blue and no vertical stripes, just light blue, yellow and white. I made a concept similar to this a while ago, and I think 100% of us love that white jersey, and would make an amazing alternate. The blue jersey is good too, but just prefer the white jersey, I really love the white jersey. I kind of like how the yoke stops on the Reebok script and maybe a yoke would work on the blue jersey. (8.5/10) COTW Nom. from me.
Boston Bruins Concepts (By: Stephen T.)
I like this idea, and the winter classic like striping is a great idea, I wasn't a huge fan of Boston's Winter Classic jerseys when they came out, but they've grown on me, making me love yellow jerseys. The yellow jersey is the better of the two, though this is probably meant to be a set. The logo is a little low though, cutting down on the tie down would make that easier, and maybe shrinking and making the shoulder patches less pixelated would help with the execution. (7/10)
So this is the Monday post, all wrapped up. Do you agree with my ratings, have COTW nomination in mind, ready to make a Colgate entry? Remember to do all that and more today, and have a great week.

I didn't know I was playing fantasy baseball... Haha
Yeah I was playing a guy in the finals of my league against a guy named Sufat16, I got killed in the finals, guess that's what I get for naming my team CubsFTW
Anaheim is likely a playoff team but the lost of Ryan will hurt them, doubt they win the division. San Jose and LA will be 1/2 slight edge for LA in my mind.
Phoenix is a wild card as usual, not sure what you will get with them.
Edmonton needs to make the playoffs, cant imagine what it will be like there if they miss for the 8th year.
I think you are bang on with Vancouver, other than Sedins, Kesler and Burrows, they are really weak on forward. Luongo will need to be top 3 goalie for them to be successful, if his head isn't in it, watch out, also if it goes south early, I wonder if the Sedins's think about signing somewhere else this summer.
As a Flames fan I am prepared for the worst this year. As an optimist, I think if (big if) the goaltending is at league average, they won't be last this year. Won't be a playoff team, but won't be as terrible as people think.
Central I agree with for the most part. The bottom 4 are pretty much interchangeable other than maybe Colorado, they don't have a chance. It should be interesting the last 2 playoff spots in the west with the crossover, there will be lots of teams in contention for them.
The Metro division should be quite competitive. Penguins and Rangers should be locks, Islanders/Blue Jackets are on the rise and Carolina should be better with Ward for a full season.
New Jersey looks like a mess, and Philly isn't going anywhere with Mason/Emery as their starter.
In the Atlantic, I wouldn't be picking Toronto to win, they got the talent, but there could be lots of drama with this team. Bernier/Reimer, who starts? Is Phaneuf the captain on the trade block? Then expectations with Bolland and Clarkson, if they do not produce with the contracts they have, the media will be all over them.
It will be interesting with Detroit in the east and how they will do. I'm thinking they will battle with Ottawa, Boston and Montreal for the playoffs, and the standings will finalized on the last day.
@Jets Weird... That's not me haha
