Seattle Named 32nd NHL Franchise
On Tuesday, the city of Seattle was awarded an NHL franchise!
The Seattle franchise’s inaugural season will be 2021-22. They will play out of the (soon to be) newly renovated KeyArena. The announcement was made by the NHL after the Board of Governors unanimously approved the city as the next expansion site.
Of course this begins rampant speculation in the jersey nerd world! What will the team’s name be? What will their logo look like? What colours will they use? What will their uniforms look like?
