COTW-March winner, COTY-1st Quarter voting and more...

COTW for March voting is done and the winner is Ryan's (me) Dallas concept. Results are below.Now we move right into the vote for the 1st Quarter, which will determine our first semi-finalist. You can vote on the left side of the page. Voting will run until Friday @ 11:59pm EST. You can see the concepts under the COTY 2011 tab.

I also promised concepts last night and I didn't come through with them, sorry. So, here they are this morning.

Charlestown Chiefs concepts(by Brandon)Brandon takes the Chiefs from Slapshot and gives them a new look using the University of Illinois mascot logo. I like the black one on the bottom the best but, the blue is good also.

Detroit Red Wings concept (by Mason)Mason used the Winter Classic logo and some unique striping which seems to be based on their 27-28 Cougars sweaters. This looks really good and I like the striping a lot.

New York Islanders concept (by Spirit104)Spirit uses the Isles killer wordmark here for his crest. Personally I would switch the orange and the wheat. I'd also want to see hem stripes or shoulder patches...or both.

New York Islanders concept (by Glen)Glen wants fishsticks! Glen has made the fishstick jersey look good! He's used a reverse of the Ducks template and the popular lighthouse logo appears on the shoulders. I still think the fishsticks logo could sell. If not as a new 3rd jersey, then for nostalgic value.
