Habs, Pens, Whales and Hurricanes

Montreal Canadiens concept (by Tex)

We haven't seen a version of this jersey since 2006-07. Tex has made a couple of changes, including a vintage logo on the front and a very vintage logo as a shoulder patch. I wonder if the Habs will ever have a 3rd jersey again? I guess if it's not broken, don't fix it.

Carolina Hurricanes concept (by Mason)

I like this jersey, especially the full grey at the hem. I don't seem to like it so much at the cuffs but, with black gloves it would probably look pretty cool.

Mason also gives us a concept that the Canes could use if they were to honour the team that came before them. I think the shades of green and blue might need to be darker, such as the 92-93 Whalers, for the logo to look more dangerous.

Connecticut Whale concept (by Scott)

It's amazing how almost all Whale concepts are better than what we actually see on the ice. Scott has taken their whale and put it into a classic looking shoulder patch. I really like this!
