Guelph Glow Up

Earlier today, the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League debuted a new, updated logo and a fresh new uniform set to match, and I must say that it's a beauty.

That new logo is a great update for the team, the tornado looks much more menacing when it's staring at you head on, and it does a much better job of incorporating the team's color scheme.  The word mark is also a great improvement, with the team choosing a more rounded, modern font as opposed to the old generic block text.  To accompany the new logo change, the team also released a new uniform set that the players will wear going forward.

The home jersey uses the usual red base with the striping more spaced out than previous iterations.  The away set uses a matching striping pattern with the colors shifted around and contrasting red cuffs that really complete the look.  All in all, it's a great redesign for the Storm that definitely makes them a contender for best identity in the OHL.  To quote our fearless leader Ryan, "those are fantastic!"
