Newfoundland Growlers Jerseys

On Tuesday one of the ECHL's newest franchises, the Newfounland Growlers, unveiled their inaugural season jerseys!

The light jersey will use a white base with tall gold cuffs that approach the elbow and are outlined in black. The hem uses a large gold stripe topped with an equally large black stripe. The collar is black and in the classic CCM Edge style. The yokes are white and outlined in gold. The white jersey will be worn for road games for the first half of the season before switching to home games.

The dark jersey is black and also features tall gold cuffs to the elbow. White outlines the gold here and on the thick hem stripe. The primary crest features the NEWFOUNDLAND wordmark arched above it which is one of two main differences from the white sweater. The other difference is the lack of outline on the yokes.

Both jerseys will feature a commemorative inaugural season on both shoulders. The Growlers also have created a custom blockl style font for the jerseys which falls in line with the branding we've seen to this point. The colours used on the jerseys have been named by the team, which is trendy nowadays. The black has been dubbed "Sable Chief Black" and the gold will be refered to as "Regiment Gold".
