Moose Jaw Warriors New Red 3rd Jersey

On Friday the Moose Jaw Warriors revealed their new red third jersey.

The jersey matches the same striping pattern as their white and black jerseys. The typical Warriors logo is replaced by a moose...with attitude! The Warriors use Blackhawks style numbers and NOB on their home and roads, and do the same with this alternate. A contrasting coloured namebar caps it all off.

The look is very plain and seems unimaginative. Looking at highlights from Friday's game and these appear on TV as plain red practice jerseys. This team may have the most boring jerseys in Canadian junior hockey, if not for the angry moose logo. It does seem a little similar to the AHL's Manitoba Moose, but there's only so many ways to draw a moose.

These new sweaters are very unimpressive to me. I can only imagine what my rating would be if not for the somewhat decent primary logo.

Ryan's rating:  4 / 10

Here's what other HJC staffers are saying;

"Christ on a cracker!" - TC

"This logo is promising but the jerseys are hopeless." - Steve M.

When I first saw the new logo I saw so many similarities with the Manitoba Moose logo. I like the new one and yes the sweaters need work.
