On with the concepts

San Antonio Spurs NBA Concepts (By: Adam G.)
The Spurs somehow have one of my favourite and least favourite NBA identities, and that transitions to this crossover concept. For starters I like the home and road, but one thing the Spurs have done in the past that I like is using a lot of big chunky block letters and even going so far as to make the inside of their numbers the same colour as teh jersey. The primary Spur transfers decently to hockey, but it certainly works a lot better on the alternate with the chest stripe! The alternate is the real winner here, but using the wider 90s Spur would be a nice call back to a classic design decade the team flirts with on occasion.

Florida Everblades ECHL Concepts (By: Jay S.)
I'd really prefer all these concepts be on one image, maybe two but don't out home and roads on separate images, please! That being said, I really dig what is being done here, especially the side panels. This is totally a design pattern that could work for a minor league team. That being said the lack of colour in those side panels hurt it quite a big, namely on the home, where some green would work pretty well. The arms are very similar to the OG Edge Blues jerseys, and it works for a team with lots of curves in their logo. The alternate is very basic, but it lets the long diagonal name flow and there's just enough on the hem to keep it form being super boring.

Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Concepts (By: TC Moore)
It's amazing everyone can do a better Jags look than the actual Jags...The home and road are fantastic. The yoke is gorgeous and frankly I love the little chevron patterns on the arms that call on Jacksonville's military background. The colours are all excellently balanced between the 3. The one issue I have is the primary logo. It isn't bad but the overtly detailed head is needs something around it to really work. Also they got DESTROYED by my Chiefs this past week so in the words of D Generation X....SUCK IT!
9/10 COTW Nom from me!
