Possible Winnipeg Jets Alternate Leaks

Another day, another alternate has possibly leaked, this time in the Great White North.

Winnipeg issued a press statement a week and a half ago that today would see the team unveil their new alternate, first in team history and 3rd in franchise history (first since the motocross alternate in 2010-11). A key chain was handed out featuring a new script alternate.

Thanks to @hangarhockey on Twitter, we now have a look at the aviator blue alternate.

The striping pattern here is very simple, with two bands of polar night blue with white in the middle. This striping is very similar to what the team wore from 1990-96. Th aforementioned script logo is the primary logo, with the same colour layout as the striping. The rest of the jersey is relatively blank, with no shoulder patch and a collar matching the jersey, with a small amount of white around the ring. Inside the collar we have a bit of hanger effect going on, stating one of the team's slogans "We Are True North".

It is unclear at this time whether the team will wear a polar night or aviator blue helmet, but is likely to keep the polar night gloves and pants. HJC will update this story when the Jets officially unveil the jersey.
