Sunday: Your Daily Doze of Concepts

As prescribed by your doctor. Hi everybody. Welcome back. Not much new going on in the world other than news that Newfoundland could get an ECHL team. That being said, don't forget about the fourth quarter vote, COTW, and the top three vote of the COTY logo comp.

4th Quarter Vote (ends Friday @ noon ET)
COTW January 5-11 vote (ends Friday @ noon ET)
2017 COTY Logo vote (ends Friday @ noon ET)

ok let's do this

Cole W- Coquitlam Express
Positives: The express already use a Bruins style jersey so I don't mind you sticking with another Bruins style jersey but the slight changes to the striping bring it together to make it it's own. Good job.
Negatives: All I'd really like is to have some contrast on the collar. I get that you wanted to have it flow with the full length yoke but it would bring more difference if it was a contrast.
Overall: 7.75/10

 Noah B- Carlton Blue
Positives: While the striping is minimal, the stripes are large and make a solid point but also give the jersey a classic feel, similar to what you would see with the Maple Leafs. The yoke was a good choice as well on the white jersey. It really helps give a nice balance.
Negatives: My only negative, and this is nit picking, is the logos lines aren't clean. What I mean is the straight lines have bumps in them and the C isn't a perfect curve.
Overall: 9/10 COTW NOMINEE!

Noah K- Ball State Cardinals
Positives: A school we don't see often, I like the ideal of just having cuffs on the jerseys because of the design of the Nike template itself. So striping choice was a good one.
Negatives: Some execution errors on this. The TV numbers, which I won't get into the TV number placement argument, are too close to the edge of the jersey. There should be a bit of a space between them. Speaking of the TV numbers, Part of the 8 should actually show up on the side with the 1 and the 8 should be slightly cut off on the other side of the sleeve. Otherwise the only error I could see is that Nike only does the cuffs on the top of the jerseys and not the bottom.
Overall: 6/10

That's it for me guys. Have a good week and I'll see you guys next week!
